The OnePlus 12R is the stronger pick on published processor specifications and offers a dedicated ultrawide rear camera; the Nord CE 6 5G counters with a higher 144Hz maximum refresh rate and a larger listed battery. There is no dependable single price gap to quote: current listings disagree, and the 12R’s India availability varies by seller. Compare exact variants and checkout prices before deciding.

Specifications come from different regional and secondary listings, so they do not establish a like-for-like laboratory comparison. In particular, the 12R charging figure depends on region, and the Nord CE 6 durability and package details cited here are not confirmed by the official sources used for this comparison.
Which phone is better for performance and gaming?
The 12R has the stronger performance case on published chip tier: OnePlus lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while Beebom lists the Nord CE 6 with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. That makes the 12R the more compelling specification-led choice for demanding apps and games. It is not proof of a particular frame rate, thermal behavior, or sustained gaming result; no independent benchmark or gaming test is established here.
How do the displays differ?
The 12R’s 6.78-inch LTPO 4.0 AMOLED panel is listed with adaptive refresh from 1Hz to 120Hz. OnePlus advertises a 1.5K AMOLED panel with up to 144Hz on the Nord CE 6. The Nord has the higher stated refresh-rate ceiling, while the 12R specification emphasizes adaptive refresh. Refresh rate alone does not establish overall display quality, and the cited Nord page does not provide a comparable full panel specification here.

Battery capacity and charging by region
The listed capacity is 8,000 mAh for the Nord CE 6 versus 5,500 mAh typical for the 12R, whose figure comes from OnePlus’s US specification page. This is a capacity comparison, not a measured endurance result. Actual battery life depends on use and conditions, and these figures do not show which phone lasts longer in a controlled test.
Charging details need regional context: OnePlus’s India launch announcement specifies 100W SUPERVOOC for the 12R in India, whereas the US 12R specification page lists 80W. Beebom lists 80W for the Nord CE 6. Rated wattage and capacity do not establish comparative charging time; check the charger and supported charging standard for the exact phone sold in your market.

Camera flexibility: the 12R adds an ultrawide
Beebom’s comparison lists a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro camera for the 12R. Its Nord CE 6 listing has a 50MP main and 2MP monochrome camera. The practical difference is that the 12R has a dedicated ultrawide option for fitting more into a frame. Megapixel counts and camera count alone do not establish image quality, so this specification comparison cannot determine which phone takes better photos.

The Nord CE 6 India store page lists 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations. OnePlus’s 12R US page lists 8GB/128GB and 16GB/256GB, while OnePlus’s India launch announcement says the 12R is available with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. Availability can differ by country and seller; compare the same storage tier and confirm the exact regional SKU rather than assuming a configuration listed elsewhere is sold locally.

India price difference: listings do not agree
OnePlus India’s Nord CE 6 purchase-page snapshot, accessed in 2026, showed ₹33,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹36,999 for 8GB/256GB; it displayed ₹40,999 MRP for the 128GB configuration. These are page figures, not a guaranteed checkout price.
Other comparison listings report different figures. Beebom and Smartprix list ₹37,999 for the Nord CE 6 and ₹39,999 for the 12R; Beebom lists launch prices of ₹29,999 and ₹39,999 respectively. 91mobiles reports the Nord CE 6 at ₹37,999 on Amazon and says the 12R is unavailable in any store in its comparison price panel. These are source-reported listings, not a confirmed live offer.
Because the Nord CE 6 price reports conflict and the 12R’s availability is uncertain, the evidence does not support one definitive current price difference. Before buying, check the exact configuration, seller, stock, warranty region, and final checkout price; promotions and bank offers can change the amount.
