The OnePlus 15R lists a newer processor, a faster-refresh display and a larger battery than the OnePlus 11R. The 11R, however, lists faster wired charging and a dedicated macro camera. For India pricing, the 15R’s reported December 2025 launch price was ₹47,999, compared with the 11R’s official standard-variant MRP of ₹39,999—a difference of ₹8,000, not a live-price comparison.

How the India price difference compares
The like-for-like reference available here is the 15R’s reported launch price versus the 11R’s official MRP. At those figures, the 15R was ₹8,000 above the standard 11R MRP; compared with the 11R Solar Red MRP of ₹45,999, the difference was ₹2,000. These are not current-price quotes: launch pricing and official MRP are different kinds of reference.

A Gadgets 360 report dated September 11, 2026 recorded an Amazon price of ₹59,999 for the 15R. That retailer snapshot is later than the launch coverage and is not a universal current price or a directly equivalent official MRP. Check the seller, variant, availability and price at the time you buy.
What changes most between the phones
Newer platform and higher listed refresh rate
The 15R’s product page lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, compared with the 11R’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and a 165 Hz screen compared with 120 Hz. These specifications indicate a newer platform and higher maximum refresh rate, but they do not establish real-world performance, sustained gaming results or display quality. OnePlus calls the 15R display a “segment-first” feature; that is the company’s own description, not an independently verified category comparison.

OnePlus Community author Evan Z. described the 15R as the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and posted claimed gains of 36% CPU, 11% GPU and up to 46% AI performance. Those are vendor claims, not independent results from a direct 11R-versus-15R test. The author’s role beyond the name displayed in the post is not established. Read the OnePlus Community post.

The 15R lists a 7,400 mAh typical battery and 80W charging on the OnePlus India page. The 11R lists 5,000 mAh and 100W. So the 15R has the larger stated capacity, while the 11R has the higher stated wired charging rate. Neither capacity nor wattage alone determines actual battery life or how long a full charge takes. OnePlus’s US specification result distinguishes 7,400 mAh typical from 7,250 mAh rated capacity; do not treat those two measures as interchangeable. OnePlus US 15R specifications.

Different camera listings, not a proven image-quality winner
The 11R’s listed rear setup includes a dedicated 2 MP macro camera alongside its main and ultra-wide cameras. The captured 15R listing names a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP, 112° ultra-wide, and promotes 4K120 video; it does not promote a macro camera. The front-camera specifications also differ: 16 MP fixed focus on the 11R and 32 MP autofocus on the 15R. These hardware differences do not by themselves establish which phone takes better photos or selfies.
Software listings are not update-status guarantees
The specification pages refer to OxygenOS based on Android 13 for the 11R and OxygenOS 16 for the 15R. Those are product-page references, not confirmation of the software currently installed on a particular handset. Check the specific phone’s update status and rollout for your region.

Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the 15R if the newer listed chipset generation, 165 Hz display or larger stated battery capacity is more important to you, and its verified purchase price fits your budget.
- Consider the 11R if its higher listed charging wattage or dedicated macro camera better matches what you use. Its official India page also lists a protective case and a pre-applied screen protector in the box.
- Compare before choosing if battery endurance, sustained gaming, camera results or overall display quality will decide the purchase: the specifications here do not establish a direct test winner.
Exact 15R package contents are not established here, so confirm what is included with the seller. Check accessory fit for the exact model rather than assuming 11R accessories work with the 15R.
