The Omega OO6AX is a 60 cm built-in pyrolytic electric oven with a documented capacity of 70 litres and eight functions. This review is based on the manufacturer’s operating and installation instructions and a product sheet marked updated in 2017. It is not based on hands-on testing, so it cannot tell you how well the oven cooks, how reliable it is over time, or whether it is still sold new. What follows is what the documentation establishes, what it leaves open, and what to check before you buy, install or repair one.
What the Omega OO6AX is
The OO6AX is identified in Omega’s operating and installation instructions as a 60 cm built-in pyrolytic electric oven. Pyrolytic ovens use a high-temperature cleaning cycle to burn off food residue, so the cleaning method differs from a standard catalytic or manual-clean oven. The manual’s cleaning section gives the exact cycle steps for this model, and you should follow those rather than generic pyrolytic advice.
Documented specifications
The table below combines the two documents. Where the figures come from the 2017 product sheet, the sheet itself warns that specifications and sizes can vary, so treat those figures as the documented values rather than guarantees for every unit.

Electrical requirements and installation
The manual gives the electrical requirements that the installation must meet. It states that installation is permitted only by a licensed electrician, so treat the steps below as preparation for that visit, not a do-it-yourself job.
#1 Best Overall
- 40W A15 appliance light bulb can be used as appliance parts replacement bulb in oven, refrigerator, under microwave, over stove range hood lava lamp, an replacement of OEM bulb item:15206, 48706, 83645, 40A15, 4396822, 8009, 10181, 10034, 9570, 5032-6.
- High Temperature Resistant design, it will be the choice for your oven and microwave light, Max 300 Degree or 570℉ Resistant
- Longer lifetime, that appliance oven bulb provides 1000hours lifetime, standard A15 shape: W48mm/ 1.9’* H85mm/ 3.3’, replace your old bulb directly, no problem at old appliance parts size limited.

- 40W oven bulb offer 2700K soft warm white color, 400lumens ensure the enough light as appliance light bulb application.
- Find the rating plate on the appliance and note its voltage, frequency and rated input.
- Compare those figures with your mains supply. The manual specifies 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz and a maximum rated input of 2600 W.
- Confirm the circuit and plug arrangement match the documented 15 A plug rating. Your local wiring rules also apply; the manual’s figures do not replace them.
- Book a licensed electrician to connect and commission the oven if your installer has not already done so.
Cabinet fit and clearance
Before buying, measure the housing opening and compare it with the documented 595 mm high, 595 mm wide and 570 mm deep figures. The manual also warns that adjacent furniture must tolerate a temperature rise of at least 50°C above room ambient during use. Materials that cannot tolerate that rise, such as some laminates and adhesives, can soften, discolour or delaminate over time. Check the adjacent cabinetry before installation and follow the clearance requirements in the manual.
Maintenance and replacement lamp
Disconnect the power supply before any adjustment or maintenance, as the manual instructs. The oven lamp is documented as an E14, 220–240 V, 25 W lamp rated to 300°C. The high-temperature rating matters because a standard appliance bulb is not designed for the heat inside a pyrolytic oven.

Ordering the right lamp
- Confirm the lamp fitting on your appliance is E14 before ordering.
- Check the voltage and wattage against the rating plate and the manual: 220–240 V, 25 W.
- Look for the 300°C rating on the lamp packaging. A lamp without it is not the documented replacement.
When the oven does not operate
The manual includes troubleshooting steps for an oven that does not work. Start with the simplest checks and work outward.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Confirm the oven is connected to the power supply and that the wall socket or isolator is switched on.
- Check the household fuse or circuit breaker that feeds the oven.
- Check the timer setting. A programmed timer that is off or set to a delay can make the oven appear dead.
- If the oven still does not operate after these checks, follow the troubleshooting section of the manual and contact a qualified service engineer.
What the documentation does not establish
The available material does not confirm several things buyers often want to know:
Rank #3
- Uses 40 watts (415 lumens)
- Rated to last 1.4 years with an annual operation cost of 4.82 dollars based on 3 hours per day use at 11 cents per KwH
- Dimmable and works with most dimmer switches
- Warm, soft white light with 2700 Kelvin color temperature
- A15 shape and size incandescent bulbs with E26 base and clear finish
- Current availability. Neither document shows that the OO6AX is still sold new, or where.
- Parts and service. The manual describes the lamp and troubleshooting steps, but it does not show that replacement parts or service are currently available.
- Cooking performance. No independent test results or hands-on cooking assessment were used for this review.
- Reliability. No owner data or long-term reliability evidence was located for this model.
- Dimensions across production. The product sheet’s figures may not match every production run, so measure your own opening.
For those questions, check current retailer listings, ask the seller for the model and serial label, and contact Omega’s customer support directly.
