OKX Money brings stablecoin balances, transfers, rewards, and card payments into one app. Its advertised “up to 10% APY” is a maximum for eligible users and USDG balances—not a guaranteed rate for everyone—and OKX has not named the launch countries or published the new product’s full reward tiers.
What OKX Money does
OKX describes Money as a standalone app where customers can hold and transfer USDG, USDC, and USDT, earn rewards on eligible USDG, and pay with a virtual or physical card. The company says accounts can be funded using more than 50 supported currencies, which convert into dollar-backed stablecoins. OKX’s October 6, 2026 launch announcement also says users can convert between supported stablecoins without conversion fees.
OKX frames the product as a way to bring dollar-denominated balances and spending together. In its announcement, the company said: “Hundreds of millions of people have been excluded from dollar-denominated savings and frictionless global spending because the infrastructure was never built for them.”

Potentially, for users who qualify: OKX advertises up to 10% APY on eligible USDG balances, with no staking or lockup, and up to 10% cashback on qualifying purchases. “Up to” is important—the announcement does not promise either maximum to every customer or on every balance and transaction.

CoinDesk reported on October 6, 2026, citing an OKX spokesperson, that access to higher reward tiers may depend on a 30-day average deposit threshold, a 30-day spending amount, or higher OKX Exchange VIP status. The report did not provide the thresholds, and the launch announcement does not give a full tier table or base rate. OKX also did not explain how the new yield is funded. CoinDesk’s launch report describes these conditions but does not resolve those missing details.
Do not assume the new app uses the same schedule as OKX Pay. In a separate notice dated March 12, 2026, OKX said the first $10,000 in its existing OKX Pay USDG rewards program depends on VIP tier, while amounts above $10,000 receive 3.50% APY. Which stablecoins and payment features are named?
The launch announcement names USDG, USDC, and USDT as supported stablecoins. OKX says customers can transfer between supported stablecoins without conversion fees. These claims concern the assets and conversion paths described in the announcement; they do not establish that every funding route or account transaction is free.

OKX says the app offers virtual and physical cards for global spending. It advertises zero foreign-exchange fees and no conversion markup on foreign-currency card purchases. That is a claim about card purchases, not a blanket statement about all account funding, cash-out, or other conversions.

Where is OKX Money available?
OKX says it is starting in participating markets and plans to expand as it establishes that it can serve users. The launch announcement does not list countries, and CoinDesk reported that the initial markets were not disclosed. Availability is therefore country-specific; check OKX’s current availability information in the app or on its official site before relying on access, rewards, or a card. CoinDesk’s October 6 report describes the rollout as market-by-market in line with local requirements.

- Exact rewards: The new product’s base rate, complete tiers, and qualifying deposit or spending thresholds are not stated.
- Yield source: OKX has not explained in the cited launch materials how the USDG yield is funded.
- Card provider: The sources do not identify the card network or issuing partner.
- Every possible fee: The no-FX-fee and no-markup statements address foreign-currency card purchases; they do not settle all possible funding or account costs.
These unknowns matter when comparing the headline offer with another app. Check local eligibility, the actual rate tier you could receive, qualification requirements, conversion and funding costs, and who issues and supports the card.
