Amazon’s October Prime Big Deal Days run October 6–7, 2026, and are open to Prime members. Early TV roundups show discounts on OLED and Mini-LED sets, but the available reports do not confirm a television deal that is 53% off. Treat listed prices as dated snapshots: verify the exact model and screen size, seller, Prime eligibility, stock, and checkout price before buying.
Are any October Prime Day TVs confirmed to be 53% off?
Not by the TV deal reports cited here. TechRadar’s September 16 roundup reported a 40% reduction for the Insignia 50-inch F50 and dollar savings on other models; Tom’s Guide’s roundup, last updated October 2, listed different offers. Those articles do not establish a 53% television discount. Amazon’s event announcement says event-wide offers reach “up to 55% or more off,” but that is not evidence of a 53% TV deal. Amazon’s announcement, TechRadar’s TV roundup, and Tom’s Guide’s TV roundup are useful for identifying candidates, not confirming current listings.
Reported TV deals to compare

| TV | Reported price and comparison | What the report says | Potential fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| LG 65-inch C6 OLED | TechRadar reported $1,599.99 versus $2,699.99, a $1,100 reduction, in its September 16, 2026 roundup. | TechRadar describes it as a 2026 OLED successor to the C5, with an Alpha 11 AI processor, gaming features, and a smart-TV platform. | Consider it if you want a large OLED and its reported price fits your budget; confirm the current price and exact gaming specifications. |
| Samsung 55-inch S90H OLED | TechRadar reported $1,497.99 versus $1,997.99, a $500 reduction. | TechRadar lists 165Hz support, anti-glare technology, and AI upscaling. | A smaller OLED option to investigate if gaming refresh rate and glare handling matter; verify compatibility with your devices and room. |
| TCL 65-inch QM6K Mini LED QLED | TechRadar reported $664.79 versus $799.99, a $135.20 reduction. | The roundup identifies it as a Mini LED QLED set. | A lower-priced 65-inch alternative to the OLED examples; compare the actual listing’s features rather than choosing by discount alone. |
| Hisense 65-inch U6 Pro Mini-LED 4K | Tom’s Guide reported $647 versus $1,099, a $452 reduction. | Tom’s Guide calls it value-oriented and notes two HDMI 2.1 inputs with 4K gaming support up to 144Hz. | Worth checking if you want a 65-inch set with gaming support at a reported price below the OLED examples. |
| TCL 85-inch QM6K Mini-LED 4K | Tom’s Guide reported $897 and called it an all-time price low in its article; the stated prior price is not stated in that report summary. | The cited description identifies an 85-inch Mini-LED 4K model. | A large-screen candidate if you have room for an 85-inch TV; check the live listing and delivery details. |
TechRadar and Tom’s Guide describe their selections and deal assessments in their respective roundups. These are not independent hands-on evaluations by this article. “Top-rated” should not be read as a single, universal ranking: the right choice depends on the price you can actually get and the features you need.

How to choose between the deals
Start with room, size, and budget
Decide what screen size suits your room before comparing discounts. The examples range from 55 inches to 85 inches, and the lowest reported price does not make a set a better fit if it is too large or too small. Set a spending ceiling based on the checkout price, not the crossed-out prior price.
Choose display type for your priorities
The reported options include OLED and Mini-LED/QLED sets. Use display type as one comparison point, not a verdict by itself: the deal reports supplied here do not provide a consistent, side-by-side picture-quality test across these models. Check independent reviews and the listing’s specifications for the exact model before treating one technology as the better choice for your viewing conditions.

Check gaming features against your equipment
Refresh-rate figures matter only if the TV’s inputs and features support the resolution and refresh rate you intend to use, and your console or PC can output them. The cited reports specifically mention 165Hz for the Samsung S90H and up to 144Hz 4K gaming plus two HDMI 2.1 inputs for the Hisense U6 Pro. Confirm these details on the exact listing and check how many suitable HDMI inputs you need.
Account for the smart-TV platform
The TechRadar description mentions a smart-TV platform for the LG C6, but the roundup information here does not specify platform details consistently across all five examples. If a particular interface or streaming app matters to you, verify availability on the exact model rather than assuming it from the brand.

What to verify before checkout
- Open the current product page and confirm the full model name, screen size, and year or model variant. Similar model names can refer to different specifications.
- Check the seller, stock status, delivery options, and whether the offer is available to your Prime account and region.
- Compare the checkout price with the stated prior price and with other current listings. A discount percentage alone does not establish value.
- Confirm the features you need, including resolution, refresh rate, HDMI inputs, gaming support, and smart-TV platform, on the exact listing.
- Review return and delivery terms before placing the order, especially for a large screen.
The deal prices above come from U.S.-focused publisher roundups dated September 16 and October 2, 2026. Availability and checkout prices can change during the October 6–7 event; a reported offer may expire, sell out, or differ by seller and listing.
