Amazon’s October Prime Big Deal Days ended at 11:59 p.m. on October 7, 2026, but some Apple discounts were still being reported the next day. The clearest examples were a 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage for $1,099, down from $1,299, and AirPods Pro 3 for $179, down from $249. Those dated reports do not verify a $79 AirPods offer or establish that 100 or more deals remained live.
Which Apple deals were reported after Prime Day?
MacRumors reported on October 8 that select Apple offers continued after the sale. Macworld’s October 7 roundup also listed several of the same products. These are dated price snapshots, not confirmation that the offers or inventory are still available now.
| Product and configuration | Reported price | Reporting context |
|---|---|---|
| 13-inch M5 MacBook Air, 16GB memory, 512GB storage | $1,099, down from $1,299 | MacRumors, October 8; Macworld, October 7 |
| 15-inch M5 MacBook Air, 16GB memory, 512GB storage | $1,299, down from $1,499 | MacRumors, October 8 |
| AirPods Pro 3 | $179, down from $249 | MacRumors, October 8; Macworld, October 7 |
| Apple Watch Series 12 GPS, 42mm | $349.99; reported as $49 off | MacRumors, October 8; verify model, color, and current price |
| M6 Mac mini, 16GB memory, 256GB storage | $779.99, down from $899 | MacRumors, October 8; Macworld, October 7 |
| M5 Max Mac Studio, 36GB memory, 512GB storage | $2,299, down from $2,499 | MacRumors, October 8; Macworld, October 7 |
Macworld’s roundup includes US and UK pricing, so do not assume a price applies in both countries. Check the listing for the exact configuration, seller, stock, and any membership requirement before buying.
Is there really a $79 AirPods deal?
The reliable reports cited here support AirPods Pro 3 at $179, reduced from $249; they do not substantiate AirPods at $79. A $79 offer would need to identify the specific AirPods model and retailer, and be confirmed on a live listing. Do not treat the Pro 3 price as evidence for a different model or price.
#1 Best Overall
- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.
- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a generic (Mfi certified) charging cable.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
Are 100 or more deals still live?
The post-event reports cited here cover Apple offers; they do not verify that 100 or more deals across categories remained available. What Hi-Fi? reported that Prime Day ended at 23:59 on October 7, 2026, but that does not establish a count of post-sale offers. Any such count requires a current, comprehensive deal list and checks of the individual listings.
How to judge whether a post-sale discount is worthwhile
- Match the full product name and configuration, not just the product family.
- Compare the retailer’s current price with prices at other sellers; a stated markdown alone does not show that it is the best available value.
- Keep regional pricing separate. Macworld’s roundup covers both US and UK prices.
- Consider the reference price carefully: Macworld notes that Apple’s June price increases affect comparisons with older sale lows.
- Confirm the current price, stock, seller, and eligibility on the retailer’s page, since the cited reports are from October 7–8 and prices can change.
