Amazon’s 2026 October Prime Day event, officially called Prime Big Deal Days, is scheduled for October 6–7. Amazon says a Prime membership is required to access event deals. The offers span categories such as electronics, home, kitchen, fashion, toys and Amazon devices, but the event name alone does not tell you whether a particular price is a bargain.
When is October Prime Day 2026?
Amazon announced that Prime Big Deal Days returns October 6–7, 2026, in participating markets. The event is also commonly called October Prime Day, though Prime Big Deal Days is Amazon’s official name. Amazon’s announcement lists the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and countries across Europe, Asia and Latin America. What kinds of deals should you expect?
Amazon’s event materials describe offers across electronics, fashion, home, kitchen, toys and Amazon Devices. Its 2026 announcement also highlights apparel and beauty. Those are categories, not a promise that every product or brand will be discounted—or that an advertised price will be the best available.
Amazon’s 2025 FAQ named KitchenAid and Shark among past kitchen and home deal examples, and mentioned Keurig, LG and Staub in connection with limited-time deal drops. Amazon devices and Echo
Amazon Devices are a category Amazon highlights for the event. Echo Dot is a historical example of a popular deal: Amazon’s recap says it was among the top-selling deals worldwide during Prime Day 2019. How to track a deal before and during the event
Amazon’s 2025 FAQ recommends several ways to keep tabs on products. Feature names and availability can vary by market and app version, so check what is available in your local Amazon store and current app.

There is no single answer for every item. A sale label or event price does not, by itself, show that a product costs less than its usual price, beats the price at another retailer or is the best offer of the year. The available Amazon event descriptions do not provide independent price histories or item-by-item comparisons for October 2026.

Before buying, decide what you want and what price you consider acceptable. Then compare the live offer with the prices and alternatives you can verify for that exact product. Also confirm that the offer is available in your country, whether Prime is required, and when the deal ends. Treat limited-time wording as a time constraint, not proof of savings.
