For October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days, current deal coverage reported a Dyson V8 at $269.99 (31% off) and several Shark vacuum offers, including a robot vacuum at $750 (42% off). The “up to 44% off” Dyson figure comes from a separate June offer, not the October sale. Prices below are dated reported snapshots, not verified live checkout prices; confirm the retailer listing before buying.

These are source-reported prices and discount calculations, not independent test results or guaranteed current offers. Cory Fernandez, NBC Select commerce editor, said of the outlet’s October roundup: “I spent weeks combing through thousands of discounts to find the best October Prime Day vacuum deals — each one I recommend below is highly rated and 20 percent off or more, as well as at its lowest price in at least three months.” That statement describes NBC Select’s selection criteria, not a guarantee about every offer listed here.

Is the Dyson V8 on sale for 44% off?
Not at the October price reported by NBC Select. Its October 7 roundup listed the Dyson V8 at $269.99 versus $389.99, or 31% off. The 44% figure traces to a different NBC Select report dated June 26, 2026: the V8 was then $299.95 versus $539.95 at Williams Sonoma. That June deal is historical and should not be treated as an October offer.

How to choose between these Dyson and Shark vacuum deals
For smaller rooms and quick cordless cleaning
The Dyson V8 is the clearest fit among these offers for smaller areas. Its reported 30-minute runtime and crevice attachment may suit spot cleaning and tight spaces, but consider whether that runtime meets your needs across the rooms you plan to clean.
For hands-off cleaning and mopping
The Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal is the robot option in this group, with vacuuming, mopping and stain detection reported by WIRED. Its stated multi-floor mapping limitation matters if you want one robot to map a two-story home: the reviewer said it cannot learn multiple floors. WIRED says its Prime Day vacuum deals include models the publication has tested and recommends even when they are not discounted; that is WIRED’s editorial description, not a manufacturer specification.
