The NZXT H6 RGB+ is a dual-chamber ATX mid-tower that arrives with three RGB fans and a Control Hub Lite, making it a more complete out-of-box package than the fan-free H6. It offers flexible cooling and a striking glass-forward design, but its rear chamber can get crowded, and NZXT’s documents disagree on GPU clearance. Plan around a 360 mm graphics card limit unless NZXT confirms your exact card fits.
What the H6 RGB+ includes—and what it is not
This is NZXT’s 2026 H6 RGB+ model, not the older H6 Flow RGB. The RGB+ is sold separately from the standard fan-free H6. Its package includes two F360 RGB Reverse fans, one F120 RGB fan, and a Control Hub Lite. NZXT lists black model CC-H62FB-P1 and white model CC-H62FW-P1. NZXT’s product page identifies the bundle and color variants.
The case is a 55 L dual-chamber mid-tower made from steel and tempered glass. NZXT lists dimensions of 448 × 292 × 420 mm. The design separates the main component area from the PSU and cable-routing area behind it, while the glass panels put the build on display. That visual arrangement is a strength, though the space behind the motherboard is not as easy to organize once all the included hardware is installed.
Will your components fit?
Motherboard support covers ATX, micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX; back-connect motherboard support is ATX only. NZXT lists up to 165 mm of CPU cooler height and 200 mm of PSU length, with up to 90 mm of cable-routing space. The case has seven expansion slots. Check your exact component measurements, especially for a large GPU or a thick top-mounted radiator assembly.

GPU clearance is disputed
NZXT’s product page and 2026 digital manual list graphics cards up to 390 mm with a 30 mm front-right fan installed. However, NZXT’s H6 (2026) support specifications, updated May 27, 2026, state 360 mm under that same fan condition; CGMagazine’s review also describes 360 mm clearance. The available documents do not resolve the conflict. Treat 360 mm as the conservative planning limit, then confirm clearance for your exact card and the current documentation before buying.
Cooling and radiator fit
The case supports up to ten 120 mm fans across the front-right, top, bottom, and rear positions. Radiator support includes up to 360 mm at the top and up to 120 mm at the rear. NZXT says the top radiator may be up to 400 mm in total length, but the combined top radiator-and-fan thickness is limited to 67 mm. At the front-right, NZXT support lists up to 30 mm for the combined radiator and fan thickness. Check the complete radiator-and-fan dimensions as well as nearby motherboard and memory clearance, rather than relying only on a radiator’s nominal size.

Ports, storage, and the included controller
Front I/O consists of two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port, and a headset jack. Storage mounting provides two 2.5-inch bays and one 3.5-inch bay.

Its fan connections comprise two NZXT 8-pin PWM-only channels and one standard 4-pin PWM/DC channel. For lighting, it has two NZXT 8-pin channels and one NZXT RGB channel. Connector types matter if you plan to add or substitute non-NZXT fans: a fan may physically fit a case mount but still require a compatible connection or separate control solution.

What the review found in a build
In a CGMagazine review published September 27, 2026, Erik McDowell found the H6 RGB+ visually striking, with good thermals and low noise in his own system. He reported that the rear chamber became difficult to organize once the top-mounted PSU, drive cage, and Control Hub Lite occupied the same area. That is a practical trade-off for builders who expect to add drives or have a large number of cables.
With a Kraken Elite 360 AIO and after extended gaming sessions, McDowell reported maximum readings of 60°C for the CPU, 33°C for DIMMs, 50°C for the GPU, and below 30°C for the motherboard. These are readings from his particular build and workload, not controlled comparative results or a prediction for every configuration. In his comparison, the included NZXT fans were quieter than fans he had on hand, with negligible temperature difference; he also said thermals were very good but below those of his Cooler Master builds.

H6 RGB+ versus the fan-free H6
The useful distinction is the package, not a different cooling layout claim: the H6 RGB+ includes three RGB fans and a controller, while the standard H6 is sold without fans. Current pricing for the fan-free model is not established here, so compare current totals for the case and any fans or control hardware you would otherwise buy.

McDowell’s value assessment favored the bundle, writing, “Even the $199 H6 RGB+ offers enough extras to remain one of the better deals around.” That is his opinion, not a verified comparison of current retailer prices. Check the live price and the exact color/model before purchase.

Who should consider it?
- Consider it if you want a dual-chamber, glass-forward case with RGB fans and a controller already included, and your planned components fit the stated clearances.
- Check carefully first if your GPU is longer than 360 mm, your top radiator assembly approaches 67 mm thick, or you rely on a back-connect motherboard that is not ATX.
- Look at the fan-free H6 instead if you already own suitable fans and control hardware and want to avoid paying for a bundle you will not use.
- Plan the rear chamber if you will install the drive cage, a long PSU, and the controller; reviewer experience suggests that area may become cramped.
