NVIDIA says its DGX Spark 64GB configuration will be available Friday, October 23, 2026, starting at $4,999. The company also says two 64GB systems connected over a 200 GbE fabric with Sync Cluster Assistant can pool 128GB of memory. That is a two-system cluster capacity claim—not a single machine or a guarantee that every application can use one flat 128GB memory space.

When does the DGX Spark 64GB come out, and how much does it cost?

In an October 2, 2026 announcement, NVIDIA said the DGX Spark 64GB would be available Friday, October 23, with a starting price of $4,999. The company named Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, and MSI as manufacturer partners. These are NVIDIA’s announced date and starting price; the announcement does not establish individual sellers’ inventory or transaction prices. NVIDIA’s announcement

How can two 64GB systems provide 128GB?

NVIDIA says two DGX Spark 64GB systems connected over a 200 GbE fabric through NVIDIA Sync Cluster Assistant pool memory to 128GB. The capacity is distributed across two computers: it does not turn them into one physical workstation, and the announcement does not say that every application automatically sees a single unified 128GB memory region.

NVIDIA says Sync Cluster Assistant detects connected systems, validates their device configuration, configures the ConnectX-7 network, and routes workloads. This describes NVIDIA’s announced setup and capability, not independent performance testing. The workload still runs across two systems, so the cluster arrangement should not be treated as equivalent to having 128GB installed in one node.

What cable and network setup does NVIDIA specify?

NVIDIA’s DGX Spark User Guide says systems connect using QSFP cables. Each port supports up to 200 Gb/s, while the cable determines the incoming link speed. NVIDIA recommends a cable rated for at least 200 Gb/s; a faster-rated cable does not raise the port’s 200 Gb/s ceiling. NVIDIA DGX Spark networking guide

  • Check that the cable has the correct QSFP connector ends and is rated for at least 200 Gb/s.
  • Confirm the exact cable model and length against NVIDIA’s approved-model details; the guide lists approved models from Amphenol and Luxshare.
  • Use Sync Cluster Assistant for the cluster workflow described by NVIDIA, rather than assuming that a physical connection alone pools memory.

The guide says Sync Cluster Assistant supports up to three systems connected directly by cables, or up to four systems through a switch. That is broader topology guidance; NVIDIA’s specific 128GB pooled-memory statement applies to two 64GB systems.

Which DGX Spark specifications are confirmed for the 64GB model?

The detailed hardware guide currently describes a DGX Spark with 128GB of unified memory, ConnectX-7 networking, two QSFP network connectors, and 1 TB or 4 TB NVMe M.2 storage. NVIDIA’s October 2 announcement does not confirm that every item in that guide carries over unchanged to the newly announced 64GB configuration. Do not use the 128GB model’s full spec table as a substitute for a confirmed 64GB SKU specification. NVIDIA DGX Spark hardware overview

What to verify before choosing a 64GB system or a two-node cluster

The announced $4,999 is a starting price, not a stated price for a complete two-system setup. Before comparing a single 64GB unit with a two-node configuration, confirm the exact SKU’s full specifications, storage, current price and availability from the seller, warranty and support terms, and the additional cost and compatibility of the required cable or switch. NVIDIA’s announcement establishes neither a current comparable transaction price for the 128GB configuration nor the total cost of a two-node cluster.
