The vivo T5 Pro 5G is the stronger fit if you want a larger, faster-refresh display, a much larger listed battery, faster charging, and higher stated water-and-dust protection. The Nothing Phone (4a) is the more camera-flexible option on paper, with a periscope telephoto camera and ultra-wide lens. Both are listed with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, so the specifications alone do not establish a performance winner.

Nothing Phone (4a) vs vivo T5 Pro 5G: specifications

This comparison combines Nothing’s UK product page, vivo’s India specification and store pages, and 91mobiles’ India comparison page. The Nothing figures for display, battery, and detailed cameras below come from 91mobiles; the corresponding vivo specifications come from vivo’s official India page unless noted.

Specification Nothing Phone (4a) vivo T5 Pro 5G
Documented memory and storage 8GB RAM + 128GB storage on Nothing’s UK product page 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, or 12GB + 256GB on vivo’s India specifications
Processor Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, per 91mobiles Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, per vivo
Display 6.78-inch Flexible AMOLED; 120Hz; 1224 × 2720, per 91mobiles 6.83-inch AMOLED; up to 144Hz; 1260 × 2800, per vivo
Rear cameras 50MP main, 50MP periscope with up to 3.5× optical zoom, and 8MP ultra-wide, per 91mobiles 50MP Sony IMX882 main and 2MP bokeh, per vivo
Front camera 32MP, per 91mobiles 32MP, per vivo
Battery and charging 5400mAh and 50W, per 91mobiles 9020mAh and 90W, per vivo
Software and protection information Nothing promotes Nothing OS; the opened product page did not confirm a detailed OS version or protection rating Android 16, Origin OS 6.0, IP68 and IP69, per vivo

These are listed specifications, not results from standardized testing. Battery capacity and charging wattage do not establish real-world endurance or charging time, and camera resolution does not establish photo quality.

Which phone has the better display, battery, and charging?

On stated hardware, vivo leads in all three areas: its screen is 0.05 inches larger and supports up to 144Hz, compared with 120Hz on the Nothing; its listed battery is 9020mAh versus 5400mAh; and its charging rating is 90W versus 50W. Choose the vivo if those specifications are your priority. Actual battery life and charging performance depend on use and conditions, and no comparable test results are established here.

Which phone has the more versatile camera setup?

The Nothing Phone (4a) offers more distinct rear-camera options in the cited comparison: a main camera, periscope telephoto with up to 3.5× optical zoom, and ultra-wide camera. The vivo specification lists a main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera. That makes the Nothing more flexible on paper for switching between wide, standard, and zoomed-in framing, but it does not prove that its photos are better.

Nothing’s UK product page separately promotes a three-camera system and “Up to 70x ultra zoom.” That manufacturer claim should not be confused with the comparison page’s stated up to 3.5× optical zoom: the 70× figure is not evidence of 70× optical magnification.

Are the phones equally fast?

Both are listed with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. That shared chipset name is not enough to conclude that the phones deliver identical performance: sustained speed, heat management, and behavior under demanding workloads require comparable testing, which is not available here.

What are the prices, and is there a clear price difference?

No reliable like-for-like price gap can be stated from the available listings. The pages reviewed on October 7, 2026 showed different markets, sellers, and listing conditions:

Phone and listing Observed price Context
Nothing Phone (4a), Nothing UK product page £379 8GB + 128GB configuration
Nothing Phone (4a), 91mobiles India comparison panel ₹34,999 Listed out of stock
vivo T5 Pro 5G, 91mobiles India comparison panel ₹36,999 Panel identified Amazon as the seller
vivo T5 Pro 5G, vivo India Store ₹41,999 8GB + 128GB; displayed MRP ₹55,999

These are page observations, not guaranteed checkout prices. In particular, the Nothing UK amount cannot be directly compared with India listings, and the two vivo India observations differ. Check current local stock, seller, and the exact RAM/storage variant before deciding which costs less.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the vivo T5 Pro 5G if

  • You prioritize the larger listed battery and higher charging wattage.
  • You want a larger display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
  • You value the IP68 and IP69 ratings listed by vivo.
  • You need more documented memory and storage configurations to choose from on vivo’s India page.

Consider the Nothing Phone (4a) if

  • A periscope telephoto camera with stated 3.5× optical zoom and an ultra-wide camera matter more to you than the vivo’s listed battery, charging, and display advantages.
  • You prefer Nothing’s design or software experience; those preferences are subjective, and the available pages do not establish a detailed software-support comparison.

Check before you buy

  • Compare the same RAM/storage tier in your country and confirm the live price and availability.
  • If contactless payments matter, verify NFC support for the exact regional model: vivo’s India specification page does not establish its NFC status.
  • For performance, camera quality, or battery endurance, look for comparable testing rather than inferring results from specifications alone.
