The Nothing Phone 4a is the bigger-screen option on the published specifications, while the OPPO F33 Pro 5G lists a larger battery, faster maximum charging and higher ingress-protection ratings. There is no dependable price winner in the available India snapshots: the cited prices differ by source and configuration, and both listings showed stock limitations.

Nothing Phone 4a vs OPPO F33 Pro 5G: specifications at a glance

This is a comparison of published specifications and India price snapshots, not a hands-on review. OPPO announced the F33 series in India on 15 April 2026. The comparison publisher lists 5 March 2026 as the Nothing Phone 4a launch date. Nothing specifications below are attributed to that publisher because an official Nothing product page was not available in the cited material.

Which phone has the better display?

On the figures reported, the Nothing Phone 4a has the larger display: 6.78 inches versus OPPO’s 6.57-inch-class panel. The comparison page also gives Nothing the higher resolution, 1,224 × 2,720 versus OPPO’s 1,080 × 2,372. Treat the Nothing resolution as publisher-reported rather than verified manufacturer data; the stated diagonal and resolution combination merits confirmation.

OPPO confirms an AMOLED panel and adaptive refresh options of 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. The supplied Nothing comparison lists 120Hz but does not establish panel type or adaptive refresh behavior. A higher resolution or refresh-rate ceiling alone does not establish overall display quality, brightness or outdoor visibility.

How do their cameras compare?

Front cameras

OPPO specifies a 50MP autofocus selfie camera with a 100° field of view. That wide framing may suit group selfies or including more of the background. The comparison page lists a 32MP front camera for Nothing, but the figures do not show which phone takes better-looking selfies. Image processing, focus behavior, skin tones, low-light performance and video quality require direct testing.

Rear cameras

The comparison page reports a 50MP + 50MP + 8MP rear-camera configuration for Nothing. OPPO’s launch release identifies a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait/monochrome camera. These camera counts and megapixel ratings do not establish equivalent lenses, useful focal lengths or photo quality. The available primary OPPO details and secondary Nothing listing are not enough to make a reliable camera-performance verdict.

Which has the larger battery and faster charging?

OPPO publishes a 7,000mAh typical battery capacity and 6,830mAh rated capacity, with charging up to 80W SUPERVOOC. Gadgets 360 reports 5,400mAh and 50W charging for the Nothing Phone 4a. On stated hardware, OPPO has the larger battery and higher maximum charging rate. Those figures do not establish measured battery life or time to recharge; usage, software, charger availability and test conditions matter.

What do the protection ratings mean?

OPPO says the F33 Pro was tested to IP69K, IP68 and IP66 levels. Its product page describes IP68 submersion testing at 1.5 metres for 30 minutes and IP69K testing by SGS to ISO 20653:2023. These are controlled-condition results, not a guarantee that a phone will remain undamaged after every exposure to water, dust, pressure or impact. The comparison page lists IP64 for Nothing, but that figure is not verified here against a Nothing primary source.

What is the price difference in India?

The available snapshots do not support a clean, like-for-like price winner. The 91mobiles comparison showed ₹34,999 for Nothing Phone 4a and ₹39,999 for OPPO F33 Pro at Amazon; it marked the Nothing out of stock. An OPPO-branded India storefront separately displayed ₹33,999 for the F33 Pro 8GB/128GB, but marked it sold out. Prices, stock and configurations can change, and the two OPPO figures come from different sources.

Phone and source Displayed price Configuration / availability
Nothing Phone 4a — 91mobiles comparison snapshot (accessed 2026) ₹34,999 Marked out of stock; storage configuration not stated in the cited snapshot.
OPPO F33 Pro — 91mobiles comparison snapshot (accessed 2026) ₹39,999 Amazon-referenced price; configuration not stated in the cited snapshot.
OPPO F33 Pro — OPPO-branded India storefront (accessed 2026) ₹33,999 8GB/128GB; marked sold out.

To determine the actual difference before buying, compare both phones on the same day, in India, with matching storage and RAM, and confirm the seller, warranty, stock and final checkout price. The snapshots above are not a current live-price guarantee.

Consider OPPO F33 Pro if battery capacity, charging or protection ratings matter most

OPPO’s published specifications give it a larger stated battery, a higher maximum charging rate and more expansive ingress-protection ratings. These are hardware specifications and controlled test claims, not proof of longer everyday endurance or damage-proof use.

Make the final call on price, camera use and verified support

Choose based on live local prices for equivalent configurations and the camera features you actually need, especially OPPO’s wide-angle front-camera framing. No like-for-like performance testing is available here, and a supported software-update-duration comparison is not established by the cited sources. For its own launch, OPPO described the series as combining a “segment-best 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera, IP69K durability, massive 7000mAh battery, ColorOS 16, and 5G++ connectivity”; those superlatives are the company’s promotional wording, not independently verified findings.
