For buyers in India, the OPPO Reno16c 5G is the clearer pick for battery capacity, faster charging and expandable storage; the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro stands out for its larger 144Hz 1.5K display, Nothing software features and periscope camera. OPPO lists the Reno16c at ₹49,999 for 8GB/128GB, with prices stated as correct on 9 September 2026. Nothing’s India product page shows configurations but no numeric India price, so a reliable current price difference cannot be calculated without checking live listings for matching variants.
India price difference: what is confirmed
OPPO India lists three Reno16c 5G configurations. Its stated prices include taxes and were correct on 9 September 2026; OPPO says they may change. Nothing’s India page shows 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB configurations but does not state a numeric Indian price in the product information available here. Do not use a UK price as a substitute for an Indian one.
| Configuration | Nothing Phone (4a) Pro | OPPO Reno16c 5G |
|---|---|---|
| 8GB RAM / 128GB storage | Configuration shown; India price not stated on Nothing’s product page | ₹49,999, OPPO India price stated correct on 9 September 2026 |
| 8GB RAM / 256GB storage | Not listed in the cited Nothing India configurations | ₹53,999, OPPO India price stated correct on 9 September 2026 |
| 12GB RAM / 256GB storage | Configuration shown; India price not stated on Nothing’s product page | ₹59,999, OPPO India price stated correct on 9 September 2026 |
OPPO says the listed configurations and colors are available through its official India store and authorized retail partners; exchange, EMI and bank offers may apply. A third-party comparison page showed ₹43,803 for Nothing and ₹49,999 for OPPO when it was crawled, but those are marketplace snapshots that may reflect particular variants or offers, not guaranteed current prices. Check the variant and live checkout price before deciding which costs less. OPPO India Reno16c · Nothing India Phone (4a) Pro · 91mobiles comparison snapshot

These specifications are from the manufacturers except where noted for the Nothing rear-camera configuration. Nothing’s 5,000-nit figure is an advertised peak; OPPO’s 1,400-nit figure is HBM, so they are not directly comparable brightness measurements. The Nothing page also gives a general 5,080mAh battery figure but specifies 5,400mAh for India. Check the exact regional model and package contents when shopping. Which phone is better for performance?
The published chip specifications identify the Nothing as using a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and the OPPO as using a Dimensity 7300-Energy. They do not establish how the phones compare in sustained gaming, heat, app loading or battery use. Avoid treating third-party benchmark figures as equivalent real-world performance evidence: test conditions and software versions matter.
There is also a published specification conflict worth avoiding. A third-party comparison lists the Reno16c with a Dimensity 7300 and LPDDR5X memory, while OPPO’s own page specifies Dimensity 7300-Energy and LPDDR4X. OPPO is the primary source for those fields. The cited OPPO information does not establish the Reno16c refresh rate clearly enough to compare it with Nothing’s 144Hz figure, so this comparison does not assign the OPPO a refresh-rate value.
Display: Nothing offers the larger, faster panel
Nothing’s 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen is larger and has a stated 144Hz refresh rate. OPPO lists a 6.57-inch, 2372 × 1080 display with 397 PPI and 1400-nit HBM. On the specifications available, Nothing has the advantage if screen size, resolution class and refresh rate are priorities. Brightness figures need context: Nothing advertises peak brightness, whereas OPPO specifies HBM, so the numbers alone do not prove which is easier to read in every outdoor condition.

- Heavy-duty bumper frame case
- Anti-slip embossed texture for a secure grip
- Non-yellowing TPU bumper and polycarbonate back
- Air Cushion Bumper design for enhanced shock protection
- Built-in strap holes to attach wrist straps and other accessories
Cameras: both have 3.5x optical zoom
Each phone specifies a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. Nothing uses a periscope design and lists OIS; OPPO lists optical stabilization on its telephoto alongside a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. Nothing’s India page confirms a three-camera system, and TechRadar’s specification table identifies its rear cameras as 50MP main, 50MP periscope and 50MP ultra-wide. The megapixel counts do not by themselves establish which phone takes better photos.
Nothing advertises up to 140x ultra zoom, while OPPO lists 10x digital zoom. Those are digital zoom ceilings, not equivalents to the phones’ 3.5x optical zoom, and they should not be read as a measure of usable detail at maximum magnification. Nothing lists a 32MP, 89° front camera; the cited OPPO details do not confirm a front-camera specification.
TechRadar reviewer Lewis Maddison reported sharp 3.5x images from the Nothing, alongside subdued color reproduction and inconsistent exposure in some shots. Those are one reviewer’s observations, not a controlled comparison with the Reno16c. Read TechRadar’s Nothing Phone (4a) Pro review.

Battery and charging: OPPO has the capacity advantage
For India, Nothing states a 5,400mAh battery and 50W charging. OPPO gives the Reno16c a 7,000mAh typical capacity, 6,850mAh rated capacity and 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Those are manufacturer capacity and charging specifications; they do not alone establish how long either phone lasts for a particular user, since endurance depends on usage, settings and network conditions.
In TechRadar’s review, Maddison reported a little over 13 hours of 2K video streaming on the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. That is a single reviewer’s test under a particular workload, not a standardized battery benchmark or a result directly comparable with the Reno16c. TechRadar review and test observations.
Storage, software and practical extras
The Reno16c is the more flexible option if removable storage matters: OPPO lists card expansion and offers an 8GB/256GB configuration in addition to 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB. Nothing lists UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5X memory, with 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB configurations on its India page.
Nothing states that Phone (4a) Pro is built on Android 16 and promises three years of OS updates and six years of security updates. The cited OPPO specifications do not establish an equivalent update commitment. OPPO’s India product information says NFC and eSIM are not supported and lists a charger and protective case in the box; verify the package for the precise retailer and regional SKU before purchase.
Quick Recap
Which should you buy?
- Choose Nothing Phone (4a) Pro if you value its larger 1.5K 144Hz display, Glyph Matrix, stated software-update commitment, LPDDR5X memory or periscope camera system.
- Choose OPPO Reno16c 5G if you prioritize a larger stated battery, 80W charging, microSD-style storage expansion, or the included charger and case listed for the India package.
- Decide on price only after checking matching variants: OPPO’s date-stamped list price is available, but Nothing’s India product page does not state a numeric price. Compare current checkout prices for the same RAM and storage tier rather than relying on an undated marketplace snapshot.
