Performance and storage
The reported Motorola configuration pairs a Dimensity 8500 Extreme with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. Nothing uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and offers 8GB or 12GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. On the published chip and storage specifications, Motorola has the stronger reported hardware tier and faster listed storage generation; Nothing gives buyers more configuration choices.
91mobiles lists Geekbench multi-core scores of 7,054 for Motorola and 4,314 for Nothing, and AnTuTu scores of 2,217,003 and 1,411,440, respectively. Those are publisher-reported benchmark results, not tests conducted for this article; scores can vary with software, device condition, and test conditions. Treat them as an indication from that comparison rather than a guarantee of how every app or game will perform. 91mobiles comparison.
Display and handling
Both phones are listed with 1.5K AMOLED-class displays and 144Hz refresh rates. Nothing’s listed screen is marginally larger at 6.83 inches, compared with about 6.8 inches for Motorola. Motorola has the higher reported peak-brightness rating—5,200 nits versus Nothing’s 5,000—but those figures alone do not establish which screen is easier to see in real-world conditions.

- Heavy-duty bumper frame case
- Anti-slip embossed texture for a secure grip
- Non-yellowing TPU bumper and polycarbonate back
- Air Cushion Bumper design for enhanced shock protection
- Built-in strap holes to attach wrist straps and other accessories
Motorola is reported at 190g and Nothing at 210g, a 20g difference that may matter if you carry or hold your phone for long periods. Gadgets 360.
Camera hardware: what the numbers do and do not tell you
Both have a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP telephoto camera in the published comparisons. Motorola adds OIS to its reported periscope telephoto and has a 50MP ultrawide; Nothing’s ultrawide is listed at 8MP. Motorola also has the higher-resolution front camera on paper—50MP with autofocus, versus Nothing’s 32MP. Megapixel counts do not establish overall image quality, so they are best used to compare the listed hardware rather than predict results in every lighting or camera mode.
Zoom descriptions vary between sources. Gadgets 360 lists 3x for Motorola and describes Nothing’s “Ultra Zoom” support up to 140x; 91mobiles and Smartprix list up to 3.5x optical zoom for the periscope units. Optical reach and digitally extended or marketed zoom are not interchangeable. Because the reported optical figure is inconsistent, verify the exact camera specification for the regional model rather than treating a maximum zoom label as optical magnification. Battery and charging
Motorola is listed with a 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging. Nothing is listed with 5,400mAh and 50W wired charging, with no wireless charging reported in these comparisons. That gives Motorola the advantage in stated capacity and charging options, but battery capacity alone does not determine runtime. 91mobiles reports 14 hours 11 minutes for Motorola and 13 hours 49 minutes for Nothing in a battery-duration comparison; the retrieved page does not provide enough test-method detail to generalize those results to everyday use. Gadgets 360, 91mobiles.
Software support and durability
Both are reported to ship with Android 16-based software and receive three OS upgrades. Gadgets 360 reports six years of security updates for Nothing and five years for Motorola, giving Nothing the longer stated security-support commitment. Check each brand’s terms for when the update period begins and for the policy applying to the exact regional variant.
The listed durability claims differ: IP65 for Nothing, versus IP68/IP69 and MIL-810H for Motorola. These are source-reported ratings, not a promise that either device is damage-proof; confirm the applicable regional specification and warranty conditions. Gadgets 360.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose Motorola if its current price suits your budget and you want the reported 12GB/256GB configuration, stronger listed chipset and storage tier, larger battery, faster wired charging, wireless charging, a 50MP ultrawide, or a lighter handset.
- Choose Nothing if you prefer its slightly larger display, want more choice of memory and storage variants, or place greater weight on the longer reported security-update period.
- Compare carefully if cameras are decisive. The phones differ most clearly in ultrawide resolution and front-camera specifications, but resolution and zoom labels are not substitutes for image-quality evidence.
- Compare the same storage tier before buying. The launch-price entry configurations differ, and comparison-site prices are snapshots rather than guaranteed offers.
