POCO’s detailed specifications here come from secondary listings and reporting, while Nothing’s specifications are documented on its official product pages.

How the price difference affects the choice
At the cited India prices, the POCO costs ₹11,000 more than the Nothing. This is a listing snapshot, not a guaranteed or permanent price gap: seller, storage configuration, stock, and offers can affect what you pay. Compare the same storage variant and final checkout price before deciding.
The practical question is whether POCO’s larger battery and higher charging rating matter enough to you to justify that premium. The available figures establish a substantial paper-spec difference in battery capacity and charging power, but they do not establish how much longer either phone lasts in everyday use.
Battery and charging: POCO’s clearest paper advantage
Nothing’s official Phone (3a) specifications list a 5,000mAh battery and 50W wired charging. POCO India’s teaser claims, quoted in a Gadgets 360 report dated 28 August 2026, specify a 10,000mAh battery, 100W wired charging, and 27W wired reverse charging. Beebom also lists the POCO at 10,000mAh and 100W.

POCO’s teaser also claimed up to 3.5 days of playback. That is a manufacturer marketing claim, not an independently measured result, and it should not be treated as a promise of that runtime for every user. No matched independent endurance test of these two phones is established here.
Display, processor, and software
Display
Nothing officially lists a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 × 2392 resolution. Beebom lists the POCO with a slightly larger 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, also at 120Hz. The listed size and resolution favor POCO on paper, but specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in use.

Processor
The Phone (3a) uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, according to Nothing’s official specifications. Third-party POCO listings identify the X8 Power 5G’s processor as the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5. These are different platforms; the available evidence does not provide a comparable independent performance test of the two phones, so it does not support declaring one faster overall.

Camera hardware: what the specifications do and do not show
Nothing’s official specification page lists a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto camera, and 8MP ultrawide camera on the rear, plus a 32MP front camera. Beebom lists the POCO with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide, and a 32MP front camera.
The listings describe different rear-camera setups, but megapixel counts and lens inventories do not establish photo quality. There is no verified matched camera test here to show which phone takes better photos or video.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Nothing Phone (3a) if its cited lower India price fits your budget and its documented display, processor, and camera configuration suit your priorities.
- Consider the POCO X8 Power 5G if its listed 10,000mAh battery, 100W wired charging, and larger, higher-resolution display are worth the cited price premium to you.
- Wait for direct testing or compare in person if camera quality, sustained performance, or actual battery life is decisive; the specifications alone cannot settle those questions.
