The better choice depends on which regional Edge 70 Fusion you can buy and what matters most to you. In India, Motorola lists a 7,000mAh battery, 68W charging and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor; its UK support page instead lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 model. On the available India price snapshot, the Nothing Phone (3a) 8GB/128GB was reported about ₹6,000 cheaper, but the Motorola listing was out of stock and the Nothing price was reported earlier.

Which Edge 70 Fusion specifications apply?
Do not treat “Edge 70 Fusion” as one universal configuration. Motorola’s India support listing gives the phone a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and a 7,000mAh battery with 68W charging. Its UK support listing gives the processor as Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, while Motorola’s global product page describes a 5,200mAh battery version. Motorola’s India page also cautions that specifications may vary by market.

What the published display and camera details show
Display
Motorola’s India listing specifies a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display, 2772 × 1272 resolution and refresh rate up to 144Hz. The available Nothing product information does not provide a complete set of comparable display figures, so an exact numerical display comparison would be unsupported.
Rear cameras
For the India Edge 70 Fusion, Motorola lists a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), plus a 13MP ultrawide. Nothing’s product page describes the Phone (3a)’s camera system, but the available details do not provide a complete paired camera specification. These figures alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.
India price difference: about ₹6,000 in dated listings
For the matching 8GB/128GB configuration, Gadgets 360 reported the Nothing Phone (3a) at a lowest price of ₹24,999 on September 11, 2026. Motorola’s official India store displayed ₹30,999, against an MRP of ₹42,999, when accessed October 7, 2026; the phone was marked out of stock. Subtracting the reported amounts gives an approximate ₹6,000 difference in those listings, not a guaranteed current price gap.

The figures come from different listing contexts and dates: one is a third-party reported lowest price, while the other is an official-store listing that was not available to purchase at the time checked. Confirm the current price, RAM and storage configuration, and stock before deciding.
UK and Europe prices are not a like-for-like comparison
Nothing’s UK listing showed the 8GB/128GB Phone (3a) at £299 and sold out when checked. Its Europe product-page search result showed a starting price of €349. These regional references do not establish a current UK or European price difference against the Edge 70 Fusion; the captured Motorola global page did not provide a comparable UK price. Do not compare either figure directly with the India amounts.

Choose based on the India listings if you are shopping in India
The reported India price snapshot favors the Nothing Phone (3a) by about ₹6,000 for 8GB/128GB, while Motorola’s official Edge listing was out of stock. If price is decisive, verify both phones’ current, purchasable listings first. If you are considering the Edge for its battery or display figures, confirm that the India-market specification applies to the exact handset offered to you.

Check the exact Edge variant in the UK
The UK support listing identifies a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Edge 70 Fusion, not the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 configuration shown on Motorola’s India page. The available price references do not support a current UK price comparison, so check local retailer listings before comparing value.

The published figures identify processor variants and some Motorola India display and camera hardware, but they are not comparative performance or image-quality tests. Nothing’s available product details also do not establish a complete paired table for battery, display or cameras. Choose using verified local specifications, current same-configuration prices and the features you prioritize rather than treating a spec label as proof of real-world superiority.
