The vivo V60 has the larger stated battery, faster charging and higher water-and-dust protection ratings; the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro explicitly offers a 3x optical periscope camera. In a third-party India price snapshot for matching 12GB/256GB configurations last updated September 11, 2026, the V60 was ₹9,651 more expensive. That is a dated listing comparison, not a guaranteed price today.

How the main differences affect your choice
Performance: different chips, no proven speed winner
The phones use different Snapdragon platforms: the Nothing has a 7s Gen 3, while the vivo has a 7 Gen 4. The available specifications do not establish a tested head-to-head performance winner, so choose based on your apps and usage rather than treating chipset names alone as a benchmark.
Display: same refresh-rate class, different brightness claims
Both are listed with 120Hz displays, and Nothing specifies a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED panel with adaptive refresh. vivo publishes separate brightness measures—1,500 nits maximum global brightness and 5,000 nits local peak brightness. Those figures describe different conditions and should not be compared directly with another brand’s peak-brightness claim.

Cameras: explicit 3x optical zoom versus ZEISS portrait features
Both phones have three rear cameras and a telephoto option. Nothing explicitly specifies a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. vivo identifies a 50MP ZEISS super telephoto camera and promotes ZEISS portrait focal lengths and modes. The specifications describe hardware and features, not which phone produces better photos; that would require comparable image samples or controlled testing.
Battery and charging: vivo has higher stated figures
vivo lists 6,500mAh typical capacity, 6,330mAh rated capacity and up to 90W FlashCharge. Nothing lists a 5,000mAh battery and 50W charging. The vivo figures indicate greater stated capacity and charging power, but they do not establish longer real-world battery life or a particular charging time. Usage, settings and other conditions affect those outcomes.
Durability: IP ratings are not damage-proof guarantees
vivo states IP68 and IP69 certification, while launch coverage reports IP64 for the Nothing Phone (3a) series. These ratings refer to ingress protection under test conditions; they do not mean a phone is immune to damage. Water resistance can decline over time, and liquid damage may not be covered by warranty. Check each manufacturer’s terms before relying on a rating.

Size, software and what is in the box
Smartprix lists the V60 as 19g lighter and 0.86mm thinner than the Nothing phone. Those figures are third-party listings, so check the precise model and finish if weight or thickness is a deciding factor. Software versions can change with updates; check the installed version and current update policy when buying. Smartprix lists a charger and case in the V60 box, but not in the Nothing box; included accessories can vary by region and retailer, so confirm the exact package.

Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the vivo V60 if its larger stated battery, up-to-90W charging, IP68/IP69 certifications, lighter listed weight or included charger and case matter most to you—and the current price fits your budget.
- Consider the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro if you want explicitly stated 3x optical periscope zoom or the lower price in the dated 12GB/256GB comparison. Confirm its current price and whether the box includes the accessories you need.
- Compare further before deciding if speed, camera quality or battery endurance is decisive. The specifications here do not substitute for comparable performance, photo or battery-life tests.
