The OPPO K13 Turbo Pro is the more gaming-focused choice on published specifications: it pairs a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with built-in active cooling, a larger listed battery and faster maximum charging. The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro has the more versatile listed rear-camera setup, including a 3× optical periscope camera and an ultrawide. A reliable price difference cannot be stated from the available official listings because they cover different markets and configurations.

Which phone is better for gaming?
OPPO has the stronger gaming hardware pitch
OPPO lists the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a built-in active cooling fan and a passive vapor chamber. That makes the K13 Turbo Pro the more explicitly gaming-oriented design on paper. OPPO also described the fan as running at 18,000 rpm and cited 2–4°C cooling results in a July 30, 2025 company release; those are manufacturer claims, not independent comparative test results. See OPPO’s product page and July 2025 newsroom release.
What the specifications cannot prove
The named processor tiers and cooling hardware do not establish a particular frame rate, temperature, or sustained-performance advantage in every game. The cited material provides no independent side-by-side benchmark. Nothing promotes gaming features too, but its cited page does not list a built-in fan.

Which phone has the more useful camera system?
The Phone (3a) Pro offers more rear-camera flexibility in the listed hardware: its 50MP periscope camera provides 3× optical zoom, and it also has an 8MP ultrawide. OPPO’s cited specification page lists a 50MP OIS main camera and a 2MP monochrome camera, with no telephoto listed. That points to an advantage for Nothing when framing distant subjects or wide scenes, but it is not a verdict on image quality. Megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.
The listed selfie camera resolutions are 50MP for Nothing and 16MP for OPPO. Resolution by itself does not determine selfie quality.
Battery, charging and display differences
Battery and charging
OPPO lists a 7000mAh typical capacity and 6830mAh rated capacity, with charging up to 80W via SUPERVOOC or UFCS. Nothing lists a 5000mAh battery and 50W charging. These are manufacturer specifications, not evidence of a particular real-world battery life or full-charge time.

Both phones list AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Nothing’s UK page describes a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED panel and advertises 3000 nits peak brightness. OPPO lists a 17.27cm (about 6.8-inch), 2800 × 1280 AMOLED display and 1600 nits typical HBM brightness. Because peak and HBM are different brightness labels, those numbers should not be used to declare one screen brighter in a direct comparison.

Software and water-resistance details
The cited pages identify Nothing OS 3 for the Nothing phone and ColorOS 15.0 for OPPO. They do not establish comparable regional firmware details or software-support periods, so the version names alone are not enough to rank long-term updates.
OPPO lists IP66/68/69 for the K13 Turbo Pro and qualifies that the phone-body rating excludes the cooling-fan module. Nothing’s cited UK page does not establish a comparable IP rating; omission from that listing is not proof that the phone has no water resistance.
What is the price difference?
A current, comparable price difference is not established by the cited official listings. At access on October 4, 2026, Nothing’s UK store page listed the 12GB/256GB Phone (3a) Pro at £399 but marked it sold out. That is a UK listing, not evidence of current stock or a price in another market. Nothing’s India page showed an 8GB/128GB configuration without an exposed price, while OPPO’s India specifications page listed 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations without prices. See the Nothing UK store, Nothing India page and OPPO India specifications.

Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro if gaming hardware, a built-in cooling fan, the larger listed battery capacity or higher maximum charging specification matters most to you.
- Choose the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro if you want the more versatile listed rear-camera arrangement, particularly a periscope telephoto with 3× optical zoom and an ultrawide.
- Compare local prices before deciding on value: the cited listings do not provide a same-market, same-configuration price comparison, and the Nothing UK listing was marked sold out when accessed.
