There is no defensible universal price winner between these phones from the available official listings: Nothing lists the Phone (3a) Lite at £249 in the UK for 8GB/128GB, while OnePlus’s India launch page places the N6 in the ₹15,000–₹20,000 segment rather than giving an exact current selling price. The N6 has the stronger officially documented battery and durability claims; the Nothing listing confirms its UK price, memory configuration, glass finish, triple-camera system and Nothing OS 3.5. Compare current prices in your own country and verify the precise N6 model before buying.

At a glance: what the official pages establish

Comparison Nothing Phone (3a) Lite OnePlus N6
Price evidence £249 for 8GB/128GB on Nothing’s UK store when checked on October 4, 2026; listing may change. Nothing UK store ₹15,000–₹20,000 was the India segment cited at launch on June 30, 2026, not an exact current N6 retail price. OnePlus India launch page
Memory configuration UK listing: 8GB/128GB. Nothing’s Nepal page shows 8GB/256GB, without a price in the retrieved page text. Nothing Nepal page OnePlus materials refer to 4GB and 6GB models; 60fps video recording is specified only for 6GB+128GB.
Battery and charging Not stated on the official Nothing pages cited here. 8,000mAh typical / 7,780mAh rated equivalent; 45W SuperVOOC charging. OnePlus India launch page

5G support Not established by the cited official page. The official OnePlus pages reviewed identify the device as OnePlus N6 but do not establish 5G support for a model called “N6 5G.” Confirm the market SKU and its bands.

Price difference: compare local offers, not currencies

The £249 Nothing figure is a UK store listing for an 8GB/128GB phone. OnePlus’s ₹15,000–₹20,000 figure describes the Indian launch segment on June 30, 2026; it is not a precise current N6 price. Converting those amounts or subtracting one from the other would mix markets and unlike price types, so it would not tell you which phone is cheaper where you live.

There is also a configuration issue: Nothing’s Nepal page shows 8GB/256GB, while the cited UK listing is 8GB/128GB. For an actual comparison, check live offers for the same country and comparable RAM and storage, and compare the final checkout price rather than an announcement segment or an old launch figure.

Where the OnePlus N6 has the clearer documented advantage

Battery capacity and charging

OnePlus specifies an 8,000mAh typical battery capacity, with a 7,780mAh rated equivalent, and 45W SuperVOOC charging. The company also claims up to three days of battery life, based on OnePlus Test Lab results; actual endurance varies with usage. Those figures make the N6 the better-documented choice for a buyer prioritizing battery capacity, but they are manufacturer specifications and claims, not an independent head-to-head test against the Nothing phone.

Protection and durability claims

OnePlus states that the N6 has IP65 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification. These are useful claims to compare against a phone’s published protection rating, but they do not mean the device is waterproof or immune to damage. Nothing’s cited store page describes a glass finish but does not state an IP rating, so this evidence does not establish that the N6 is more durable in every respect.

Refresh rate and performance details

The N6 specification page lists a maximum 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200-nit peak brightness and a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor. OnePlus describes 60 months of smooth experience for the 6GB model and 48 months for the 4GB model; these are company claims, not a promise that every app will remain lag-free. OnePlus also limits 60fps video recording to the 6GB+128GB version.

What Nothing confirms—and what remains unknown

Nothing’s UK store confirms an 8GB/128GB listing, a glass finish, a triple-camera system and Nothing OS 3.5. Its Nepal regional page shows an 8GB/256GB configuration, demonstrating that the available memory option depends on market. The cited official pages do not provide the detailed display, battery, charging, chipset, camera-sensor or protection specifications needed for a complete like-for-like hardware comparison.

TechRadar’s October 30, 2025 report gives secondary, launch-era specifications for the Phone (3a) Lite: a 6.77-inch 1080 × 2392 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, 5,000mAh battery and 33W charging. Those details are attributed reporting, not specifications exposed in the official Nothing pages cited above, and should not be treated as current local pricing or as proof that every regional version is identical. TechRadar’s Phone (3a) Lite report

Does the OnePlus N6 support 5G?

The title’s “5G” label is not confirmed by the official OnePlus pages reviewed: they call the handset “OnePlus N6” and do not establish the network capability of a particular variant. Before relying on 5G, find the exact model or SKU sold in your country and check its supported 5G bands against your carrier. A product name or seller listing alone is not enough to establish that it will connect to the bands used by your network.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the N6 if its local version suits your needs

  • You prioritize a large stated battery and 45W charging.
  • You value the N6’s manufacturer-stated IP65 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, understanding these are not independent durability results.
  • The exact regional SKU has the network bands, warranty and memory configuration you need.

Choose the Phone (3a) Lite if its local offer is the better fit

  • You have confirmed its current price and configuration in your market; the £249 figure applies specifically to Nothing’s UK 8GB/128GB store listing checked October 4, 2026.
  • You prefer the documented glass finish, triple-camera system or Nothing OS 3.5, and have checked the detailed specifications that matter to you with the seller or manufacturer.
  • You can verify local service, warranty and return terms before purchase.

Neither set of cited official materials supports a universal winner on price, camera quality or overall performance. A reliable verdict depends on the exact local SKU, current like-for-like prices and confirmed network compatibility.

Before you buy: market and model checklist

  1. Confirm the country, exact model number and RAM/storage tier for both listings.
  2. Compare live total prices in that country, including delivery and any applicable taxes; do not treat a market-segment label as the exact N6 selling price.
  3. For the N6, verify 5G support and supported bands for the specific SKU with OnePlus and your carrier.
  4. Check the warranty provider, service availability and return window for the seller and region.
  5. Confirm the specifications that matter to you—especially display, camera sensors, charging and protection—on the exact regional model page rather than assuming similarly named versions are identical.
