The Nothing Phone (3) and vivo V70 differ on most headline specifications. Nothing lists a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, a 3x periscope zoom camera and wireless charging. vivo lists a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, a 6500mAh typical battery, 90W wired charging and an IP68/IP69 rating for the India model. Both list 120Hz AMOLED displays.
The price answer is only partly settled. vivo’s India e-store listed the V70 12GB/256GB Passion Red at ₹64,999 against an MRP of ₹75,999 when it was checked. No current official India price for the Nothing Phone (3) was available at that time, so an exact price difference cannot be stated yet.
Specifications side by side
The table uses the figures published on each brand’s India product pages, checked in 2026. Where a page did not state a value, the cell says so rather than filling it in from another source.

Processing
The model names point to different positions in each maker’s chip line, but a name does not translate into speed. Neither chip was benchmarked here, so this article does not rank performance, heat behaviour or gaming ability.

Display
Both phones use AMOLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Nothing Phone (3) has the larger screen by listed diagonal size, and the vivo V70 has the taller listed pixel count. Neither listing settles which screen looks better in use.
Cameras
Nothing’s main selling point in its specifications is the periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. vivo instead lists a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and a ZEISS-branded front camera. A buyer who mainly wants optical zoom will read the Nothing listing as the more specific feature set. A buyer who mainly wants a telephoto option should compare sample photos from independent reviewers before deciding, because no photo comparison was made here.

Battery and charging
vivo lists the larger battery capacity and the faster wired charging rate. Nothing lists wireless charging, including 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging, which lets the phone charge another compatible device. Nothing’s page does not state the wired charging wattage in the content checked.
Durability
vivo is the only one of the two whose India page states a water and dust rating. That rating is a laboratory result, and the page warns it may decline with use. Nothing’s India product page did not state a comparable rating when checked.

Price difference: what can and cannot be stated
The vivo India e-store listing for the V70 12GB/256GB Passion Red showed ₹64,999 against an MRP of ₹75,999 when it was checked. That is ₹11,000 below the listed MRP. It is a store price on one day for one colour and configuration. It is not a fixed price, and it is not an Amazon or other retailer price.
No current official India price for the Nothing Phone (3) was available when checked. Launch prices and price-comparison snippets from third-party sites are not reliable substitutes for a current official price. Without a matching Nothing price, no price gap can be stated.

To compare the two prices yourself:
- Open the Nothing Phone (3) product page on Nothing’s official India website and note the listed price and the RAM and storage configuration.
- If Nothing offers more than one configuration, choose the one closest to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, the configuration of the vivo listing.
- Open the vivo V70 page on the vivo India e-store and note the price, configuration and colour.
- Check both on the same day, and read what each offer requires. Bank, exchange and coupon discounts are not the same as the base price.
- Record the MRP and any time-limited label, because both can change between visits.
Which phone fits which buyer
- Nothing Phone (3): a good starting point if you want the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform, the 3x periscope camera, or wireless and reverse wireless charging.
- vivo V70: a good starting point if you want the larger listed battery, 90W wired charging, the telephoto camera, or the IP68/IP69 rating for the India model.
- Local factors: compare after-sales service, network band support, the configurations offered in your country, and the price in your market. Band support varies by regional model, and the specifications here apply to the India models only.
- In the box: vivo says the V70 box includes a phone case and an applied protective film. Treat these as included items rather than extra purchases.
