North Texas wide receiver Josiah Martin was listed as questionable before the Mean Green’s Oct. 1, 2026, game at Tulsa, with his availability expected to be decided after warmups. A later report said he did not feel ready after warmups and was out for the game.
What happened with Josiah Martin?
RotoWire reported on Oct. 1, 2026, that Martin was questionable because of an undisclosed injury and that pregame warmups would help determine whether he could play. FOX Sports’ player page later carried a report attributed to Denton Record-Chronicle reporter Brett Vito saying Martin was out after he did not feel ready following warmups. These are media reports, not a North Texas team announcement: RotoWire and FOX Sports.
What was known about the injury?
The pregame report described the injury as undisclosed. It did not identify a diagnosis or affected body part, and the subsequent report did not provide those details. No reliable return date is established in the available coverage.
