TechRadar reported on 5 October 2026 that Amazon UK was offering the Nintendo Switch 2 for £354.99, £65 below the reported £419.99 reference price. That price and stock status are time-sensitive, so check the Amazon UK listing before buying. Amazon calls its 6–7 October event Prime Big Deal Days, not Prime Day.
How much is the Nintendo Switch 2 on Amazon UK?
At the time of TechRadar’s 5 October 2026 report, the console was listed at £354.99, compared with a £419.99 reference price—a difference of £65. TechRadar described £354.99 as Amazon’s lowest price for the console at that point; this is a dated report, not an independently audited price history. TechRadar’s report also said Argos, John Lewis and Smyths had offers at the same price.

Before ordering, check the product page and checkout total. Confirm the seller, exact listing, stock, delivery date, return terms and whether the price applies to a console-only model or a bundle. The reports do not establish those listing details, and a matching price reported on 5 October does not confirm that another retailer still has stock or the same offer.
Why is £419.99 the reference price?
Nintendo Life reported that the Switch 2 launched in the UK at £395.99 in June 2025 and that its price later rose to £419.99. TechRadar also reported the £419.99 figure, saying the rise came the previous month. These are media reports; neither source cited an official Nintendo price notice establishing the change’s timing or cause. Nintendo Life’s 28 September 2026 report said it was unclear how long the retailer price would last.

When does Prime Big Deal Days run?
Amazon UK says Prime Big Deal Days begins at 12:01 a.m. BST on 6 October 2026 and runs through 7 October. Amazon describes the event as exclusive to Prime members, but that does not establish that this particular console listing requires Prime. Check the live listing for any console-specific eligibility or deal conditions. Amazon UK’s event announcement gives the dates.
Are Nintendo’s announced bundles part of the discount?
No such inclusion is established by the available reports. Nintendo UK separately announced several products for later in October 2026; they should be treated as distinct options unless Amazon’s listing explicitly identifies one of them.

Its current status cannot be confirmed from the dated reports.
