Nintendo UK’s featured release schedule for October 8–15, 2026 includes five games: four listed for Nintendo Switch 2 and one for Nintendo Switch. It begins with two Switch 2 releases on October 8 and ends with Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse on October 15. The dates reflect Nintendo UK’s October roundup, published September 30, 2026, and are not a complete list of every regional eShop release.
Nintendo games coming October 8–15, 2026
Nintendo UK described these as a selection of games launching soon and said the dates were accurate when its feature was published on September 30, 2026. Release dates and platform availability can differ by territory, so check the relevant regional Nintendo listing for current details.

Descriptions in the table summarize Nintendo’s product copy; they are not independent reviews or performance assessments. Nintendo’s roundup lists the collection as a Switch 2 release. A separate Nintendo UK catalogue entry lists KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX- for both Switch 2 and Switch on October 8. That is a distinct catalogue entry, not a reason to treat the roundup’s collection listing as a Switch release.

How the October lineup breaks down
- By platform: Four of the five featured games are listed for Switch 2; Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is listed for Nintendo Switch.
- By play style: The schedule spans a collection of role-playing games, a puzzle adventure, a fantasy RPG, a rhythm-action roguelike and an action-and-exploration game.
- By date: October 8 is the busiest day in this selection, with two releases. The remaining featured dates are October 9, 14 and 15.
Nintendo’s roundup does not establish comparable prices, review scores, performance results, online requirements or physical formats for these entries. Check each game’s regional store page for details rather than assuming those features from the roundup.

When will these games appear on the Nintendo eShop?
Nintendo Support says, “The exact release time of games on the Nintendo eShop is decided by the publisher and may vary depending on the title.” Its general guidance is that digital-only software will usually be available at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time on release day. Digital software also sold physically will usually be available at 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time the night before its physical release date, while some third-party games may not appear until noon Pacific on release day. These are general timing rules, not confirmed release times for the five games above; check the individual store listing for a title-specific time.
