The Premier is a guided, all-in-one machine for espresso, drip coffee and rapid cold brew. Its integrated grinder, weight-based dosing and automatic milk frother make it appealing to beginners and households that want several styles of coffee from one appliance. It is less suited to people who frequently switch beans or want a single espresso shot.
What the Ninja Luxe Café Premier does
SharkNinja describes the ES601BK Premier as a 3-in-1 system for espresso, drip coffee and rapid cold brew. The machine combines an integrated grinder with 25 grind settings, weight-based dosing and Barista Assist guidance. Its Dual Froth system handles hot or cold milk frothing.

What the 4.5-star review says
In a review last updated October 30, 2025, Tom’s Guide reviewer Camryn Rabideau praised the beginner-oriented interface, range of hot and iced drinks, automatic frother and built-in accessory storage. She reported that, over several weeks of testing, the machine was easy to use and produced near-perfect results in her tests. That is her assessment under her testing conditions, not a guarantee for every user, bean or recipe.
Rabideau called it the best beginner-friendly espresso machine she had tested. The 4.5-star score belongs to Tom’s Guide’s editorial review; it is not the same as a retailer’s customer rating. Kohl’s displayed a 4.5/5 customer rating from 885 reviews when its listing was accessed.

- It favors guided use over maximum manual control. Barista Assist and weight-based dosing are intended to make the process more approachable. In Tom’s Guide’s October 2025 comparison, the Philips Barista Brew offered more manual control for experienced espresso makers, but required practice.
How it compares with alternatives in the review
Tom’s Guide’s October 2025 comparison described the Philips 3200 LatteGo as an option that automates milk drinks and regular coffee, but does not make iced drinks. The review described it as costing around $700 at that time; that is a historical comparison, not a current price. The Premier’s distinguishing appeal is its combination of espresso, drip and cold drinks with guided operation, rather than a claim that it outperforms every competing machine.

Size, capacity and what comes in the package
SharkNinja lists the ES601BK at 12.99 × 13.39 × 14.57 inches, 25.73 pounds and 1,650 watts, with a one-year warranty. Measure the intended counter space and check the outlet and clearance requirements before purchase. Kohl’s lists a 70-ounce capacity and a built-in storage area.

Is the $100-off offer worth acting on?

At the reported offer price, the Premier makes the most sense for someone who values several brew styles, an integrated grinder and guided preparation more than frequent bean changes or manual shot flexibility. Cleaning and ongoing use
The owner’s guide addresses operation and cleaning, and the retailer-listed package includes cleaning tablets and descaling powder.
