Nike ACG’s Holiday 2026 purple winter lineup pairs the lightweight Lava Flow Ultralight Jacket in Bold Berry and Monarch Purple with a waterproof Misery Ridge GORE-TEX jacket and matching trousers. Lava Flow is insulated and water-repellent, not a GORE-TEX shell; Misery Ridge is the three-layer shell system. Reported US prices are $400 for Lava Flow, $450 for the Misery Ridge jacket and $400 for the trousers. Nike’s scheduled US launch date for the shell pieces is December 1, 2026.
What is in Nike ACG’s purple Holiday 2026 lineup?
The collection offers two different kinds of cold-weather protection: a down jacket intended to deliver warmth at low weight, and a waterproof shell system made up of a jacket and trousers. The distinction matters: Lava Flow has a water-repellent outer, while Misery Ridge uses three-layer GORE-TEX construction.

Lava Flow: high-fill down in a packable jacket
The Lava Flow Ultralight Jacket is the lineup’s insulation piece. Nike describes it as having the highest warmth-to-weight ratio of any ACG jacket it has made so far, as reported by T3. It uses 1,000-fill-power ExpeDRY Gold goose down, Nike Therma-FIT ADV and a water-repellent outer. The water-repellent finish is not the same claim as a waterproof GORE-TEX shell.
Nike says ExpeDRY bonds tiny amounts of recycled gold recovered from electronic waste to the down to help prevent clumping in sweat, humidity and moisture. That describes the down treatment; it does not make the jacket a waterproof layer.
#1 Best Overall
- While designing this jacket, our team went to Iceland, where the area's picturesque setting, numerous hiking trails and cool climate served as inspiration for an ACG collection's look and purpose. There's a Lunar Lake woven patch on the interior that tells more about that adventure.
- Nike Therma-FIT ADV technology combines heat-regulating fabric with advanced engineering and features to help keep you warm in cold-weather conditions. We used recycled insulation with tiny fibers that create pockets of air to help hold in warmth while letting moisture escape.
- There's less fill on the side panels for better mobility and breathability where you need it most.
- Forgot your pillow? Need to pack the jacket away? Don't sweat it! An internal mesh pocket lets you stash your gear when you need to layer down. And thanks to the insulation and soft feel, the jacket doubles as a pillow.
Weight and packability
T3 reports a weight of 255 g (9 oz) for a men’s medium and 217 g (7.6 oz) for a women’s small. The jacket stuffs into its own pocket and reportedly compresses to smaller than a 32-ounce water bottle. Those figures apply to the stated sizes; they should not be read as the weight of every size.
Colors and reported pricing
The purple options are Bold Berry and Monarch Purple. T3 reports a US price of $400 and a UK price of £369.99. At the time of T3’s reporting, the women’s purple version was marked “coming soon,” while a blue men’s version was available. That snapshot does not establish current stock or availability.

- Nike Therma-FIT ADV technology combines heat-regulating fabric with advanced engineering and features to help keep you warm in cold-weather conditions.
- A bungee system at the waist lets you to dial in your fit. The 2-way zipper lets you adjust your coverage.
- Brushed lining on the inside of the collar and pockets is soft, warm and quick-drying. The water-repellent 2-way zipper lets you adjust your coverage as needed.
- The loose fit feels roomy for the body and lets you throw it on over a base layer when needed.
Misery Ridge: jacket and trousers form the shell system
For protection against rain and snow, the Misery Ridge range is the relevant part of the collection. The updated jacket is joined by matching trousers for the first time, giving the lineup a head-to-toe shell option. Nike’s launch page describes the three-layer construction as a waterproof membrane sandwiched between a durable outer fabric and an inner liner.

Launch date and price
The reported US schedule puts both Misery Ridge pieces at December 1, 2026: $450 for the jacket and $400 for the trousers. T3 also reported a UK price of £459.99 for the Misery Ridge jacket in Black/Summit White. That UK listing is for the jacket and color stated, not a price for the trousers or a confirmed price in other regions.

Nike says the ACG team spent time in Yunnan, China, encountering rain, snow, ice and rapidly changing high-altitude conditions. T3 describes a palette drawing on granite, limestone and alpine skies, alongside ACG safety orange and vivid purple. The colors give the technical pieces a more visible identity, while the products address different needs: insulation for Lava Flow and a waterproof outer layer for Misery Ridge.
Rank #4
- Nike Therma-FIT ADV technology combines heat-regulating fabric with advanced engineering and features to help keep you warm in cold-weather conditions
- We used PrimaLoft Thermoplume for its lightweight, dependable warmth
- It's made with tiny fibers that create pockets of insulating air, holding warmth while letting moisture escape
- It's designed to help keep you warm even when wet.
The collection also fits ACG’s longer emphasis on movement over rugged terrain. Nike’s corporate history quotes climber Rick Ridgeway describing the early lightweight approach: “What was really cool about those LDVs is that you need to hop around on rocks. This was a rough hike so you could boulder hop. They breathed better. They were functionally superior to the more rigid traditional trekking shoe.” That is historical context about ACG footwear, not a performance test of these 2026 garments.
