What was reported about the crack
The crack report comes from IXBT Games. Reporter Boris Piletskiy wrote on October 8, 2026 that the game launched without Denuvo, the anti-tamper protection many publishers use on PC, and that it was cracked soon after release. The report does not give a precise time for the crack, and no separate primary confirmation of it was available when this article was prepared. Release-day cracks are common enough that the event alone says little about the game’s quality or its commercial results. What it does show is that the PC version was available to be pirated from launch, which is the reason publishers pay attention to DRM choices.

Two Steam figures appear in the coverage, and they measure different things:

Concurrent players counts accounts in the game at the same moment. It does not count how many copies were bought, how many people played in total, or how many people played for how long. A game can have a high peak and still have modest sales, and the reverse is also possible. The SteamDB page is a live chart, so the figure you see now may differ from the one recorded on October 8.
Neither figure says whether the crack reduced the game’s online population. The sources do not compare Steam counts with or without the crack, so any link between the two is speculation.

Release details confirmed by the publisher
Saber Interactive’s official support FAQ gives October 8, 2026 as the release date and lists four platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam. SteamDB lists Saber Interactive as both developer and publisher of the Steam version.

Saber’s FAQ describes Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival as a single-player, first-person action horror survival game. It says the player controls a character who uses the Genesis Configuration puzzle box. IXBT names the protagonist as Aidan, who is trying to save Sunny from the Labyrinth.

Claims that remain unverified
IXBT also said the game ranked second among Saber-published titles by online players. The sources do not show which games were in that comparison or how the ranking was calculated, so the claim should not be repeated as fact. The same applies to the crack report: it is IXBT’s account, and readers should weigh it accordingly.
