Nintendo has announced two new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time amiibo: Young Link and Young Zelda. Both are planned for 2027, but neither has a confirmed release day or month. Older Zelda amiibo, including Wolf Link, have appeared in Nintendo UK’s franchise store listing; that listing is not proof that a figure is in stock now.
What Nintendo has announced about the new figures
Nintendo’s official product page lists the Young Zelda amiibo as part of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time series and says it will be released in 2027. Nintendo says the exact date will be announced later. Nintendo Life’s 8 September 2026 report identifies both new figures—Young Link and Young Zelda—and also gives 2027 as their release window. No day or month has been confirmed for either figure.
Young Zelda’s confirmed game functionality
Nintendo says tapping the Young Zelda amiibo in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2 gives an in-game mask that evokes the original game’s visual style. Nintendo also cautions that amiibo compatibility and functionality may vary by game. The announced mask effect is specific to the Young Zelda figure and stated game context; it should not be assumed for older Zelda amiibo or other games.

Why older Zelda amiibo can show up separately
The new Young Link and Young Zelda figures are upcoming products, while older amiibo are existing merchandise. Nintendo UK’s Zelda franchise store listing has included Wolf Link amiibo. A listing on a franchise page can change, however, and does not by itself confirm that an item is currently purchasable or available to dispatch.

A Nintendo UK listing snapshot cited for this story showed Wolf Link at £12.99. That is a snapshot price, not a guarantee of the current price or stock. Check the specific item page before deciding whether it is available or what it costs.
How to check an older figure before buying
- Open Nintendo UK’s Zelda franchise store listing and select the specific amiibo you want.
- Check the item page for its current availability and price; do not rely on an older listing or restock report.
- Confirm that the figure’s character and design are the ones you want. Older figures are not the newly announced Young Link or Young Zelda amiibo.
Nintendo Life reported in October 2019 that Nintendo UK had restocked several Zelda amiibo, including Ocarina of Time Link. That report is useful historical context, not evidence of current stock. Likewise, dated game or retailer listings do not establish what is available today.

What to expect next
For now, the firm timing is 2027, with Nintendo yet to announce exact dates for the two new figures. If you are looking for an older Zelda amiibo in the meantime, treat the Nintendo UK franchise page as a place to check and the individual product page as the place to verify its current price and availability.
