The NEFF T66YYY4C0 is a 60 cm N 90 induction hob whose main draw is two extended Flex Induction Zones, allowing cookware to sit in different positions across the flexible cooking areas. Its manufacturer-listed controls and connected features are extensive, but fit and electrical compatibility need checking before purchase. NEFF’s specifications describe the product; they do not establish how it performs in everyday use.
What is the NEFF T66YYY4C0?
NEFF identifies the T66YYY4C0 as an N 90 60 cm induction hob with four cooking positions and two extended Flex Induction Zones. The UK specification describes each position as 2.2 kW nominal, with a maximum 3.7 kW Power Boost output. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of cooking performance. NEFF’s Ireland product page identifies the model and its product range.
How the flexible zones work
NEFF says the two extended Flex Induction Zones are 40 cm long. Its specification states: “2 Flex Induction Zones with extended flex: use cookware of any shape or size anywhere within the 40cm long zone or even place it laterally.” In practical terms, this layout is intended to accommodate different cookware shapes and positions within the flexible areas, rather than restricting every pan to a small, fixed circle. This description comes from NEFF; it is not a hands-on assessment of pan detection or heat distribution.

The manufacturer lists a removable magnetic Twist Pad Flex control, a two-colour Light Dialog interface, a configurable Favourite Button and 17 power stages. Listed cooking and convenience functions include Power Boost, pan boost, keep-warm through Home Connect or MyButton, switch-off and countdown timers, pause and lock functions, and dish assistance in the app. The feature list establishes what NEFF specifies, not how intuitive or responsive each control feels in use. NEFF’s UK specification sheet contains the detailed feature and power information.

What does Home Connect require?
Home Connect provides remote monitoring, and the specification also lists app-based dish assistance and keep-warm functionality. NEFF notes that some functions require a connected Home Connect account and app. Automatic hood functions require pairing with a suitable connected hood; the hob alone does not establish that compatibility. Check the feature requirements and your existing appliances before treating app or hood integration as part of the purchase decision.
Will it fit your worktop?
NEFF lists the hob’s product dimensions as 51 × 614 × 527 mm. The required installation niche is 51 × 560 × 490–500 mm, and the minimum worktop thickness is 16 mm. Use the niche dimensions—not just the product’s overall width—to screen whether it can replace or fit into a worktop. Confirm the actual cut-out, clearances and installation conditions against the instructions for your kitchen before ordering.

What electrical supply does it need?
NEFF lists a connected load of 7.4 kW, while also specifying 4.6 kW output at 20 A and current-management options for 16 A, 13 A or 10 A. The specification says the appropriate power-management choice depends on the fuse protection of the electrical installation. These figures do not show that a particular home supply or circuit is suitable. Ask a qualified installer to check the supply, fuse protection and applicable local requirements against the hob’s installation instructions.
What is not established by the available evidence?
Manufacturer documentation supports a clear account of the layout, listed functions, dimensions and electrical specifications, but it cannot answer how this model compares in real kitchens. No independently verified noise measurements, control-response tests, durability findings, comparative cooking results, current local price or stock information are established here. For service materials, NEFF’s support page is specifically for the T66YYY4C0/01 version and lists manuals, spare parts and cleaning products or accessories. Match the full version suffix when looking up documentation or parts.
