Navya Naveli Nanda announced Naveli Ventures on 6 October 2026 as the strategic venture arm of the Nanda Family Office. The platform says it will look across fields including deep tech, space, clean energy, AI, advanced manufacturing and health, using several investment routes. Its launch materials do not disclose fund terms, a portfolio or a formal process for founders to apply.

What is Naveli Ventures?

Naveli Ventures is presented as a strategic venture arm of the Nanda Family Office, rather than a standalone fund with published terms. Nanda’s announcement and reports by The Economic Times and VCCircle describe the same broad launch scope.

The announcement outlines an investment platform and its intended approach; it does not establish that particular investments have already been made. Nanda’s co-founding roles at Aara Health and Project Naveli, reported by The Economic Times, and the roles VCCircle reports for her at Naveli Ventures and Escorts Kubota are biographical context, not evidence of investment results.

Which sectors and founders is it looking for?

The launch announcement names deep tech, space, clean energy, AI, advanced manufacturing and health as areas of interest. Nanda describes the selection lens as the scale of the problem and the conviction of the people working on it, rather than a fixed sector mandate: “We define ourselves not by sector but by the scale of the problem and the conviction of those solving it.”

That framing suggests the listed fields are areas of focus, not a published, exhaustive eligibility list. The announcement does not specify an investment stage or geographic eligibility.

How does Naveli Ventures plan to invest?

The announcement describes four routes for deploying capital and pursuing partnerships:

  • Direct startup investments: investing in companies themselves.
  • Institutional funds: investing through funds managed by institutions.
  • Co-investments: investing alongside other investors.
  • Academic and intellectual-property partnerships: working with academic institutions or around intellectual property.

Nanda says the platform is “not chasing quick returns” and aims to help build enduring companies. This is the venture’s stated philosophy, not a disclosed investment horizon or a demonstrated outcome.

What is known—and not disclosed—about its terms?

The launch announcement and reports reviewed do not state the platform’s fund size, typical cheque, completed investments, portfolio companies, returns or expected outcomes. They also do not identify academic or IP partners. These details are undisclosed in the launch material reviewed; that does not establish that no further information exists elsewhere.

How can founders approach Naveli Ventures?

The launch sources do not describe a formal application process, contact route or eligibility criteria, and they do not say that applications are open. Founders should look for direct confirmation through Naveli Ventures’ official channels rather than assume a submission route or investment fit from the sector list alone.
