De Nanoleaf Smart Multicolor Ceiling Light combineert een plafondlamp voor dagelijks licht met een gekleurde, indirecte halo. Volgens Nanoleaf levert het armatuur maximaal 2.600 lumen en biedt het 28 kleurzones. Het kan passen als je zowel functioneel licht als instelbare sfeerverlichting wilt, maar het vraagt vaste bedrading, een 2,4GHz-wifinetwerk en een compatibele Matter-controller. De beschikbare gegevens bewijzen niet dat dit voor iedereen de ‘ultieme’ verlichting is: geschiktheid hangt vooral af van de ruimte, je smart-homeopstelling en de installatie.
Wat krijg je met deze plafondlamp?
Het armatuur is een vlak gemonteerd, vast aangesloten plafondlicht. De voorkant schijnt omlaag voor alledaagse verlichting; de achterkant projecteert een indirecte halo op het plafond. Nanoleaf zegt dat je het voorlicht, de halo of beide kunt gebruiken. Dat maakt het ontwerp veelzijdiger dan een lamp die alleen een gekleurde gloed geeft, maar de halo vervangt geen gericht werklicht.
Nanoleaf vermeldt maximaal 2.600 lumen, meer dan 16 miljoen kleuren en 28 afzonderlijk aanstuurbare zones — volgens de productspecificaties 14 aan elke zijde. Dit zijn fabrikantgegevens, geen onafhankelijke metingen. De opgegeven LED-levensduur is 25.000 uur; ook dat is een specificatie van Nanoleaf, geen resultaat van een onafhankelijke duurtest. De behuizing is volgens de fabrikant van aluminium met een afdekking van polycarbonaat.
Hoe geschikt is het licht voor dagelijks gebruik?
De combinatie van neerwaarts licht en een achterwaartse halo is het belangrijkste onderscheid. Gebruik het voorlicht als algemene verlichting en de halo voor indirecte kleur; of stel beide in wanneer je een gekleurde uitstraling wilt met licht naar beneden. Of maximaal 2.600 lumen voldoende is als hoofdverlichting, hangt onder meer af van de afmetingen, indeling en afwerking van de ruimte. De beschikbare gegevens geven geen onafhankelijke praktijktest of ruimteadvies waarmee een universeel oordeel mogelijk is.

Let ook op een tegenstrijdigheid op de Europese productpagina: de lopende tekst noemt een kleurtemperatuurbereik van 2200–6500 K, terwijl de specificatietabel 2700–6500 K vermeldt. Die waarden zijn niet onderling uitwisselbaar. Controleer vóór aankoop de actuele specificatie voor het regionale model; voor modelaanduiding NL0077K0201A001 staan beide vermeldingen op Nanoleafs Europese productpagina.
Werkt de lamp met jouw smart home?
De lamp gebruikt Matter over Wi-Fi. Nanoleaf geeft aan dat een 2,4GHz-wifinetwerk vereist is en 5 GHz niet wordt ondersteund. Bluetooth is volgens de specificaties nodig tijdens de installatie. Om het armatuur aan een Matter-ecosysteem toe te voegen, heb je bovendien een compatibele Matter-controller of hub nodig.

Nanoleaf noemt Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa en Samsung SmartThings als compatibele ecosystemen. Controleer wel of je bestaande controller en netwerk aan de vereisten voldoen; de aanwezigheid van een platform in deze lijst betekent niet dat een controller overbodig is. Bedienen kan via de Nanoleaf-app of compatibele smart-homebediening. Nanoleaf noemt ook de optionele Sense+ Smart Wireless Switch; die is niet noodzakelijk voor gebruik.

Dit is geen stekkerlamp: de plafondlamp wordt vast op de elektrische bedrading aangesloten en is bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis (IP20). Nanoleaf adviseert installatie door een erkend elektricien volgens de lokale elektrische voorschriften. De officiële product-FAQ zegt: “Installation should be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.”

Sluit het armatuur aan op een gewone aan/uit-schakelaar, niet op een conventionele dimmer. De lamp kan digitaal worden gedimd; de helderheid regel je via de app of compatibele smart-homebediening. Bekijk vóór montage de handleiding die past bij jouw regio: Nanoleaf Support verwees op 26 augustus 2026 naar afzonderlijke handleidingen voor Noord-Amerika en voor de EU/VK op Nanoleaf Support.

- Past waarschijnlijk goed: als je één vast aangesloten armatuur zoekt dat neerwaarts licht combineert met instelbare, indirecte kleurverlichting, en je netwerk en Matter-controller aan de vereisten voldoen.
- Minder passend: als je een lamp zoekt die je zelf in een fitting draait, installatie zonder vaste bedrading wilt, of de lamp met een traditionele dimmerschakelaar wilt bedienen.
- Controleer eerst: de actuele lokale productspecificatie voor kleurtemperatuur, de vereisten van je Matter-controller en de geschiktheid van de lichtopbrengst voor de ruimte.
De officiële Europese productpagina bevestigt op zichzelf geen actuele Nederlandse winkelvoorraad of prijs. Ook is er geen onafhankelijke vergelijkende praktijktest beschikbaar die aantoont dat deze lamp beter presteert dan alternatieven. Beoordeel de opgegeven cijfers daarom als specificaties van Nanoleaf, niet als onafhankelijk vastgestelde prestaties. Release notes van Nanoleaf melden een introductie in geselecteerde regio’s op 30 juni 2026 en firmware 5.2.46 met een update van 5 augustus 2026; firmware kan sindsdien gewijzigd zijn.
