Mycopunk 1.0 is scheduled to launch on October 20, 2026, for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. The release is planned to end the game’s Steam Early Access period. The PS5 version is also planned for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
When does Mycopunk 1.0 come out?
The launch is scheduled for October 20, 2026. Pigeons at Play and Devolver Digital announced the date on September 21, 2026, describing it as the end of Steam Early Access and the game’s version 1.0 launch. The date is still in the future, so it is a planned release rather than an already completed launch. The announcement and Steam listing both give October 20.
Which platforms will Mycopunk 1.0 be on?
The announced platforms are PC and PS5. On PC, the game is available through Steam; the PlayStation Store lists a PS5 version with the same October 20, 2026 release date. The available launch information does not establish any other platforms. The publisher and developer announcement names PC and PS5, while the PlayStation Store listing confirms the PS5 edition.
Will Mycopunk be on PlayStation Plus?
The PS5 edition is planned for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, according to the launch announcement. Separately, the PlayStation Store says online play is optional and supports up to four online players with PS Plus. The subscription availability and the online multiplayer requirement are distinct details; the available listings do not specify regional subscription terms.

What is new in Mycopunk 1.0?
The announcement identifies six categories of new content: guns, grenades, modes, maps, a character, and hats. It does not provide final counts or a complete list, so these categories should not be read as a detailed patch breakdown.
A developer post about the August update described it as a soft launch for working through balance and bugs before 1.0. It previewed cryo-themed employee upgrades and a cryo exploder enemy, and said a new grenade would arrive with the full power of cryo in 1.0. What kind of game is Mycopunk?
Mycopunk is a mission-based looter shooter and co-op action game. Players take on the role of a robot exterminator crew fighting a fungal threat, with customizable equipment and a grid-based upgrade system. The announcement describes action for up to four players. The release announcement, Steam page, and PlayStation Store page describe the game and its co-op offering.
What was in the Steam Early Access version?
Steam’s Early Access description listed the following as the game’s then-current contents. These figures describe an Early Access snapshot, not confirmed 1.0 totals.

Steam identifies Pigeons at Play as the developer and Devolver Digital as the publisher. Its Early Access Q&A says the developers used the period to keep adding content and polishing the game. The Q&A also indicated they planned to raise the price at full launch, but did not state a new price; the Early Access store price therefore does not establish the 1.0 price. See the Steam listing.
