What the Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport is

What stands out about the display and graphics
High-resolution Mini LED screen
The 3840 × 2400 panel has more pixels than a conventional 4K UHD screen, whose resolution is 3840 × 2160. MSI lists a 120Hz refresh rate, Mini LED backlighting, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 for this US configuration. Those specifications describe the panel; they do not establish how bright it is in every viewing mode or how it performs in independent testing.

RTX 4080 Laptop GPU, with a specified power ceiling
The graphics chip is an RTX 4080 Laptop GPU, not a desktop RTX 4080. MSI lists 12GB of GDDR6 and up to 150W maximum graphics power with Dynamic Boost. GPU model names alone do not determine gaming performance: power limits, cooling, game settings and resolution also matter. No independent benchmark or thermal measurement is established here, so the specifications should not be treated as a performance test.

Ports, memory and regional configuration differences
The listed connections cover modern peripherals and displays: Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and Ethernet. MSI also lists Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The card-reader format varies between regional versions, so check the exact local SKU if a particular card type matters.
The US A1VHG-038US comes with 64GB DDR5-5600 and a 2TB Gen4x4 SSD. MSI describes the platform as supporting up to 96GB of memory and two M.2 SSD slots; that platform-level expansion information does not mean every retail configuration ships with those maximums installed.
Windows edition can also differ by market: the US A1VHG-038US and multiple UK configurations are listed with Windows 11 Pro, while some other regional listings specify Windows 11 Home. Confirm the operating system, memory, storage and card reader against the full model number on the seller’s listing rather than relying on the family name alone.

At 2.89kg before accounting for its 280W power adapter, this is a desktop-replacement-sized laptop rather than a particularly portable gaming system. The 99.9Wh battery is a substantial listed capacity, but capacity by itself does not establish how long the laptop lasts away from a charger. No measured battery-runtime result is established for this configuration.
The large display and powerful components make the system suited to buyers who prioritize screen area, resolution and high-end gaming hardware over carrying weight. Consider its dimensions and the adapter together if you expect to move it frequently.
Availability, price and warranty
MSI’s announcement dates the platform to COMPUTEX 2024, but that does not establish present-day stock or pricing. Current availability, prices and warranty terms depend on geography, seller and exact SKU; check those details with MSI or the retailer before buying. The specifications alone do not establish value for money without a current price and a comparison with alternatives using comparable GPU power limits and display capabilities.
