MSI said its Prestige 16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Limited Edition was globally available as of July 30, 2025. That announcement records the launch, not current retailer stock or pricing. The model pairs the Prestige 16 AI+ laptop family with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport styling; the exact configuration and any included accessories depend on the regional SKU.
When did the Mercedes-AMG edition become available?
MSI announced the limited edition on July 30, 2025, describing it as globally available at that time. MSI’s launch announcement does not establish whether a particular retailer has stock now, or what the current price is. Check MSI or retailers in your market for up-to-date availability.
What is distinctive about the edition?
It is a co-branded version of MSI’s Prestige 16 AI+ productivity laptop, not a separate Mercedes-AMG computer platform. MSI describes a grey, silver and red exterior, laser-etched AMG Motorsport branding and a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis. The announcement lists the laptop at 1.5 kg and 358.4 × 254.4 × 16.85–18.95 mm.

What to verify before choosing a configuration
- Processor, memory and graphics: “Up to” describes the family ceiling. Check the exact SKU to see which processor and graphics configuration it has. The memory is specified as on-package, so do not assume it can be upgraded.
- Display: Confirm that the particular regional model has the listed 3840 × 2400 OLED panel.
- Storage: MSI lists two M.2 PCIe Gen4 slots for the family and advises consulting a service center about SSD upgrades. Verify the configuration and upgrade terms for your unit.
- Accessories: Treat the sleeve, mouse and mousepad as possible bundle items, not standard inclusions, unless the exact listing says they come with that SKU.
- Price and stock: The July 2025 announcement supplies neither a current price nor live inventory for your market.
What the specifications do—and do not—tell you
The listed hardware identifies the display, connectivity and configuration options, but it is not an independent performance assessment. MSI’s cited materials do not establish benchmark results or real-world battery life for this edition. For comparisons with other laptops, use the exact regional configurations and compare their display, processor, graphics, memory, storage, battery, weight and ports on equal terms.
