MSI lists a 120Hz mode for the latest consoles, along with HDMI 2.1, variable refresh rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). That makes the monitor relevant to PS5 owners seeking a high-refresh-rate display, but it does not guarantee that every game runs at 120Hz. Actual output depends on the game and the console’s settings.

What does 240Hz mean for PC gaming?
The 240Hz refresh rate is the headline PC specification: the panel can refresh up to 240 times per second. To benefit from that ceiling, a PC, connection and game must support the chosen resolution and refresh rate, and the game must render frames fast enough. MSI lists a 3840 × 2160 resolution, so buyers should check their graphics card’s capabilities and the monitor’s connection requirements for their intended setup.
