The MOVA P50 Pro Ultra review verdict is conditional: it is a compelling robot vacuum and mop for homes with mostly hard floors, especially if you want automated mop care and strong edge cleaning. Independent testing reports excellent hard-floor pickup and good pet-hair pickup, but weaker carpet-edge cleaning and inconsistent obstacle avoidance on carpet make it a less convincing choice for carpet-heavy homes or households where pet accidents may occur.
What does the MOVA P50 Pro Ultra do?
The P50 Pro Ultra combines vacuuming and mopping with a multifunction dock. The robot uses two rotating mop pads, an edge-reaching brush and mop design, app control, and obstacle sensing. MOVA says the robot can lift or remove its mop pads for carpet routines; those are manufacturer-described features, not a guarantee that every rug will stay dry in every setup.
The dock is designed to empty the robot’s dustbin, refill its water, and wash and dry the mop pads. That can cut down on routine hands-on work, but it does not make the system maintenance-free: you still need to manage the dock’s water tanks and carry out periodic care.

Specifications MOVA lists
MOVA’s undated product page, accessed in 2026, lists 19,000 Pa maximum suction, a 5,200 mAh battery, a 3.2 L dock dust bag, 4 L clean-water and 3.5 L dirty-water tanks, and threshold crossing up to 22 mm. The same page claims mop-pad washing with 75°C water, drying with 45°C air, 32 moisture settings, and up to 75 days of automatic dust emptying. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not independent measurements of cleaning results or a promise of a particular interval in every household. The 75-day figure depends on use; suction pressure alone does not establish how well a robot cleans.

How well does it clean?
Hard floors: its clearest strength
RTINGS reports that the P50 Pro Ultra clears nearly all debris from hard floors in one pass, including along edges and in corners. That combination of pickup and reach is the strongest reason to consider it, particularly in homes where hard flooring dominates and dust tends to collect at room edges.
Carpet: acceptable for routine debris, not a specialist
RTINGS found everyday carpet pickup decent, but some debris remained, especially at edges and corners. Carpet Boost improved results without making the robot a carpet specialist. If most of your floors are carpet, expect to compare alternatives or do some manual follow-up rather than relying on the P50 for thorough edge cleaning.

Pet hair and obstacle avoidance
RTINGS reports good carpet hair pickup from the Tri-Cut brushroll, though the brush still needs occasional cleaning. The more consequential concern for pet owners is obstacle avoidance on carpet: the review says the robot may bump into or drive over objects, particularly pet waste. If pet accidents are possible, supervise cleaning or clear the area before starting a run.

How useful is the dock, and will it fit?
The dock handles dustbin emptying, water refilling, and mop-pad washing and drying, reducing several recurring chores. In exchange, it takes up substantial floor space and still requires attention to its tanks and periodic maintenance. Ideal Home’s reviewer specifically noted a 47 cm dock depth as a potential fit problem in a small home. Measure the intended location and leave enough room to access the station before buying.
Rank #3

- 212℉ PTC Hot Mop Washing Hygienic Homes: The built-in PTC system heats water up to 212°F to wash mop pads and clean the base station automatically. This self-cleaning robot vacuum dissolves grease, removes sticky messes—ideal for homes with kids, pets, and high-traffic areas.
- MaxiReach Edge Cleaning with Smart Navigation: MaxiReach Technology delivers precise edge-to-edge cleaning along walls, corners, and tight spaces. Paired with advanced navigation, this smart robot vacuum ensures consistent coverage and fewer missed spots—reducing the need for manual touch-ups.
- Triple Anti-Tangle System for Pet Hair: Featuring a side brush, V-shaped rubber main brush (with optional CleanChop Brush), and anti-tangle omni-wheel, the Triple Anti-Tangle System effectively prevents hair wrap. Designed as a low-maintenance robot vacuum for pet hair, it keeps performance strong with less cleaning downtime.
Ideal Home’s hands-on reviewer found the mopping, edge reach, and removable-pad carpet workflow persuasive, but reported that loose stray wires remained problematic. Those observations describe that reviewer’s experience; they should not be treated as a guarantee of how the robot will behave in every home.
Who should buy the MOVA P50 Pro Ultra?
A strong fit
- Homes with mostly hard floors, where the reported pickup and edge coverage play to the robot’s strengths.
- Buyers who want a combined vacuum-and-mop system with substantial dock automation.
- Households with shedding pets that need routine hair pickup, provided the brushroll is checked and the robot is supervised around possible pet messes.
A qualified fit
Mixed-floor homes with low- or medium-pile rugs may find it workable if carpet handling is configured appropriately and occasional edge cleanup is acceptable. MOVA advertises mop lifting and pad removal for carpet routines, but the carpet-cleaning results remain less persuasive than its hard-floor performance.

What does it cost, and what should you verify?
MOVA’s US product page displayed $379 against a crossed-out $799 price when captured; that is a volatile snapshot, not a current or evergreen price. Ideal Home showed UK price-comparison links, but the cited material does not establish a stable UK price. Check the current price, currency, stock, and exact model variant in your market before purchasing.
If you are also checking replacement supplies, the product uses mop pads and dust bags, and MOVA lists pads and a dust bag in the box. Specific replacement part numbers and third-party compatibility have not been established here, so verify the exact consumable for your model before ordering.
