The Motorola Razr 60 is worth considering if you specifically want a flip-style foldable: it folds into a compact clamshell, and its 3.6-inch cover screen can handle practical tasks such as checking messages, directions, and music. Dated India price listings put it around ₹50,000, but they do not establish that it is currently in stock or among the cheapest foldables. It is a less compelling choice if gaming speed, camera detail, or a longer software-support horizon matters more to you.
What does the Razr 60 cost in India?
The available price reports place the Razr 60 near ₹50,000, but they are dated snapshots, not a guarantee of today’s retail price or availability. The Indian Express said it started at ₹49,999 in its July 2025 review. Gadgets 360 listed a ₹49,950 starting price in a snapshot dated 29 September 2026, while showing its listed colors as out of stock. Beebom Gadgets listed ₹49,999 and marked it out of stock when accessed on 4 October 2026. Check live stock and competing models before buying; these listings do not prove that the Razr 60 is currently available or the cheapest foldable in India. What do you get for the money?
The cited India configuration pairs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor. Its inner foldable display measures 6.9 inches and has a 120Hz refresh rate; the outer display measures 3.6 inches. Other listed specifications include a 4,500mAh battery, 30W wired charging, wireless charging, and an IP48 rating. Gadgets 360 lists 50MP and 13MP rear cameras and a 32MP front camera. How useful is the cover screen?
The cover display is the clearest everyday reason to choose the Razr 60 over a conventional phone. In his hands-on review, Anuj Bhatia of The Indian Express found the 3.6-inch, 90Hz screen useful for checking messages, map directions, and music. Android apps can also run on it, although compatibility varies, so do not assume every app will work equally well on the small external display. Bhatia found the inner screen smooth and brighter than its predecessor, with a less noticeable crease. He also cautioned that foldable displays need care to avoid scratches or breakage. How well does it handle performance and cameras?
Bhatia reported that everyday apps and multitasking ran smoothly, but described the processor as a modest upgrade and demanding games as a weakness. He judged the camera average for detail, while finding its low-light performance serviceable. That makes the Razr 60 a more natural fit for routine use than for buyers who prioritize intensive gaming or highly detailed photos. What should you know about updates?
The Indian Express review reported that the Razr 60 launched with Android 15 and came with a promise of three years of major Android updates and four years of security updates. Beebom Gadgets’ timeline records an Android 16 update on 9 February 2026. Those details do not establish Motorola’s current support schedule or what updates remain beyond the stated commitment, so check the latest manufacturer information if support longevity is a deciding factor. Who should buy the Razr 60?
Consider it if
- You specifically want a clamshell foldable that closes into a compact shape.
- You expect to use the cover display for quick tasks such as messages, navigation, and music.
- You are comfortable with the review-reported limitations in demanding games and camera detail.
Compare other phones if
- You mainly want strong performance for demanding games.
- Camera detail is a higher priority than the folding design.
- You want a clearly established, longer software-support horizon.
- You are choosing on price alone: compare live India prices and stock, since the available snapshots do not establish a current cheapest-foldable ranking.
As The Indian Express reviewer Anuj Bhatia put it, “The fact that the Razr 60 can fold in half and become a compact clamshell is what has drawn many people, including me, to flip-style foldable phones in the first place.” That appeal is the point: buy the Razr 60 for the form and cover-screen convenience, not on the assumption that it leads on performance or cameras.
