The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is the more fully specified hardware package on paper: it has a 144Hz display, a four-camera rear system with 3.5× optical periscope zoom, and a 6,500mAh typical-capacity battery. Nothing’s official Phone (4b) page confirms an 8GB/128GB configuration and a 50MP main camera, while additional details reported by T3 point to a 120Hz display, 5,200mAh battery, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. A reliable price difference cannot be stated without current prices for matching configurations in the same market.

The Motorola specifications above are manufacturer claims, not comparative test results. Nothing’s official product page confirms the Phone (4b), an 8GB/128GB configuration, and its 50MP main camera, but the more detailed figures in the table come from T3. Check the specification sheet for the exact regional model before buying.
Display: Motorola lists a faster refresh rate and higher peak brightness
Motorola specifies a 6.8-inch 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,200 nits. T3 reports that the Phone (4b) has a 6.77-inch, 120Hz AMOLED panel with up to 2,000 nits peak brightness and HDR10+. Those figures suggest a paper advantage for Motorola in refresh rate and stated peak brightness, but they do not establish how the screens compare in independent testing or everyday viewing.

Cameras: the Edge 70 Pro adds optical zoom
Motorola’s four-camera setup
Motorola lists a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultrawide with a 122-degree field of view, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5× optical zoom and OIS, and a macro camera. Motorola says the ultrawide combines four pixels into one for 12.5MP effective photo resolution. Its front camera is 50MP with autofocus.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Nothing’s published camera details
Nothing’s official page confirms a 50MP main camera and 4K video. T3 reports an 8MP ultrawide and 4K video at 30fps. The reviewed information does not establish a Nothing front-camera resolution, so it would be misleading to compare front-camera megapixels or assume that the two phones offer the same video modes. Camera resolution alone also cannot show which phone takes better photos; no matched independent camera test is available.
Battery and charging: larger stated capacity on Motorola
Motorola gives the Edge 70 Pro a 6,500mAh typical-capacity silicon-carbon battery, with 6,300mAh rated capacity. It supports up to 90W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Motorola notes that the required charger is sold separately. T3 reports a 5,200mAh battery and 33W charging for the Phone (4b).

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
These are specification comparisons, not a battery-life test: actual endurance depends on usage, network conditions, and other factors. The cited sources do not provide matched battery or charging tests for the two phones.
Processor, memory, and software
Motorola specifies a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, up to 12GB of LPDDR5X memory, and Android 16. T3 reports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and Nothing OS 10.1 for the Phone (4b). Nothing’s official page confirms Nothing OS and Essential AI tools, but the detailed chipset information cited here comes from T3.

Durability and connectivity depend on the regional model
Motorola lists IP68 and IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H compliance, and Gorilla Glass 7i for the Edge 70 Pro. Check the exact local model’s ingress rating and supported network bands, especially if you plan to use the phone while travelling or with a carrier that relies on particular 5G bands.

Price difference: compare local prices, not unlike launch figures
T3 reported a £299 price in the UK and €329 in Europe for the Nothing Phone (4b), with UK drops beginning 11 July and general sale from 17 July. Those are market-specific figures from secondary coverage; the cited report does not establish a universal current price. Motorola’s global announcement describes availability across select markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, but gives no single global price and directs readers to local pricing.

Because a matched Motorola price is not established, there is no defensible numeric price gap to report.
