The Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G is listed with a faster-tier chipset, more RAM and a higher-resolution front camera; the Nothing Phone (4b) is listed with an extra year of security updates and a lower price in the comparison page’s India snapshots. Those are reported specifications, not independent test results, and the prices are inconsistent snapshots rather than confirmed current offers. Check the exact variant and seller before deciding.
First, confirm the phone names and market
Motorola’s support documentation calls the device “motorola edge 70 pro plus,” while 91mobiles renders its name as both “Edge 70 Pro + 5G” and “Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G.” This comparison is about that model, not the similarly named Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G. Nothing’s official India page identifies its phone as Phone (4b). The specifications below are entries reported by 91mobiles, not manufacturer-confirmed values for every region or configuration.
For product-specific information, see Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus support and Nothing India’s Phone (4b) page.

Which phone looks stronger for performance?
On paper, the Motorola has the advantage: 91mobiles lists a Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset and 12 GB of RAM, compared with the Nothing’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and 8 GB. That makes the Motorola the more promising specification choice for demanding games or heavier multitasking, but it does not establish how either phone performs in sustained use. The comparison page’s returned content does not provide a dependable benchmark score for this pair.
How do the displays compare?
The reported screen sizes are close: 6.8 inches for Motorola and 6.77 inches for Nothing. 91mobiles labels the panels Extreme AMOLED and Super AMOLED, respectively, and one rendering lists 144 Hz versus 120 Hz. These names and figures do not by themselves establish which screen looks better: brightness, color accuracy, viewing conditions and software settings also matter, and no comparable measurement is established here.

What do the camera specifications tell you?
91mobiles lists a 50 MP main rear camera on each phone and a 50 MP front camera for Motorola against 16 MP for Nothing. Motorola support describes a rear setup with a main camera, periscope telephoto and ultrawide/macro camera. That gives a clearer account of Motorola’s listed shooting options, but megapixel counts alone cannot predict detail, low-light results, processing or video quality. No comparable hands-on camera test is established in the available information.

Battery life
Nothing calls Phone (4b) “our longest-lasting phone yet” on its official product page. That is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independently measured result. The available comparison entries do not establish a controlled battery-life result for the two phones, so do not treat the claim or listed specifications as proof of which lasts longer in your routine.

Motorola wireless charging
Motorola’s support instructions say the Edge 70 Pro Plus supports Qi-certified wireless charging and that the wireless charger is sold separately. Check the Motorola charging guidance for the manufacturer’s instructions; this information does not establish wireless-charging compatibility for Nothing Phone (4b).
Update commitments
91mobiles lists three years of OS updates for each phone, with five years of security updates for Motorola and six for Nothing. Confirm the official policy for the exact regional model before purchase; the comparison listing is not a substitute for a manufacturer commitment applicable to your market.

Price difference: the available figures are not live offers
91mobiles returned two different India price snapshots: ₹46,979 or ₹47,999 for Motorola, and ₹31,900 or ₹31,786 for Nothing. Because the figures vary between page renderings and are not verified live seller offers, they do not support a reliable current price gap. They should not be treated as manufacturer list prices.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider Motorola if the reported chipset and RAM advantage, its described periscope and ultrawide/macro rear cameras, or Qi wireless charging matter most to you. Confirm the exact regional variant and its price before buying.
- Consider Nothing if its lower price in the reported India snapshots is reflected in a matched live offer, or if the additional security-update year listed by 91mobiles is more important to you than Motorola’s paper-spec advantages.
- Do not decide on camera quality, battery endurance or display quality from the listed numbers alone. The available information does not provide a controlled, side-by-side test for those outcomes.
For a fair value comparison, first match the models and storage variants sold where you live. Then weigh the features you will use against verified local prices and the manufacturers’ regional support policies.
