The Motorola Edge 70 pairs a manufacturer-listed 5.99 mm thickness and 159 g weight with a 4,800 mAh silicon-carbon battery. Motorola also advertises three 50MP cameras—but that means two rear cameras and one front camera, not three on the back. Its claim of up to 50 hours of battery life is based on Motorola’s own test conditions, not an independent comparison.
How thin and light is the Motorola Edge 70?
Motorola lists the Edge 70 at 5.99 mm thick and 159 g. Those are the manufacturer’s specifications, rather than independent measurements. The dimensions help explain the phone’s thin-and-light positioning, but do not by themselves establish how its battery life compares with other slim phones.
What does “supersized battery” mean here?
The Edge 70 has a 4,800 mAh silicon-carbon battery, according to Motorola. The company claims up to 50 hours of battery life under its own test conditions. That is a manufacturer estimate, not a guarantee of how long every user’s phone will last: results in everyday use depend on factors such as settings, network conditions and workload. The available specifications do not provide an independent, apples-to-apples battery test against competing slim phones.

What are the three 50MP cameras?
“Triple 50MP” describes the phone’s rear and front camera system, not three rear cameras. Motorola’s UK specifications list:

The UK specification also lists a dedicated rear light sensor; it is not a camera. Camera details are from Motorola’s UK specification page.
How fast does it charge, and is the charger included?
Motorola lists up to 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. For the cited wired fast-charge claim, the company says its 68W TurboPower charger is sold separately. Motorola also describes a magnetic case that supports wireless charging. Check the package contents for your market before assuming a charger or case is included; bundles can vary.

Which specifications and durability ratings are market-specific?
Motorola’s UK support specifications list a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage and Android 16. Motorola cautions that specifications may vary by market, so these details should not be assumed for every regional version.
The same UK page lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD 810H. These are manufacturer-listed ratings, not a promise that the phone cannot be damaged. They do not eliminate the need to protect the device from impacts or use it according to the applicable care guidance.

What does Motorola’s “only ultrathin” camera claim cover?
Motorola’s product page calls the Edge 70 “The only ultrathin smartphone with three 50MP cameras.” The page scopes “ultrathin” to smartphones no thicker than 6.99 mm and dates that comparison to August 2025. It is Motorola’s own, time-bounded marketing comparison, not an independently verified current-market ranking.
