The Motorola Edge 60 Pro has the stronger on-paper specification set: a higher-resolution display, a more advanced stated chipset and memory, three rear cameras including a 3× optical telephoto, and faster wired charging plus wireless charging. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is the slightly larger-screen option and adds a hybrid SIM/microSD slot with support for cards up to 1TB. Which is the better buy depends on the live price for the exact storage variant you want; the available price listings are not a stable, like-for-like comparison.

Which phone has the better display?

The Edge 60 Pro has the higher pixel resolution at 2712 × 1220, while the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G has the slightly larger stated diagonal at 6.77 inches versus 6.7 inches. Both list refresh rates up to 120Hz, although Motorola states 120Hz and Xiaomi says up to 120Hz. The manufacturers use different panel terms—quad-curved pOLED and curved AMOLED—so the specifications alone do not settle which screen looks better.

Which is better for performance and storage?

On the listed hardware, Motorola pairs the Dimensity 8350 Extreme with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. Xiaomi lists a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage. Those differences put Motorola ahead in stated memory and storage technology, but they are not a substitute for comparable tests of the apps, games or workloads you care about.

The Redmi has a practical advantage if you want removable storage: its hybrid SIM slot supports microSD cards up to 1TB. Motorola’s listed configurations go up to 512GB of built-in storage, with no microSD expansion listed on its product page. A hybrid slot may require choosing between using a second SIM and a memory card; check the slot arrangement for the exact handset variant before buying.

Which phone has the better cameras?

The Edge 60 Pro offers more camera options on paper. Alongside its 50MP main camera, it has a 50MP ultrawide with macro capability and a 10MP telephoto with 3× optical zoom and OIS. The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. That makes Motorola the more versatile choice for framing wide scenes or using optical telephoto reach, but the camera list alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos.

Motorola also lists a 50MP selfie camera and front-camera video at 4K/30fps; Xiaomi lists a 20MP selfie camera and front video at 1080p. Both specification pages list rear 4K video at 30fps, with Motorola specifying it for each of its three rear cameras. Megapixel counts and maximum video modes do not by themselves guarantee better-looking footage.

Battery, charging and protection

Motorola lists a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging. Xiaomi lists a 5800mAh battery and 45W charging, and its page says an adapter is included. Motorola therefore offers more charging options and a higher stated wired charging rate; neither capacity figure proves which phone lasts longer in actual use.

Motorola lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD-810H testing. Xiaomi lists IP65/IP66 and cautions that its protection applies under specific laboratory conditions; liquid damage outside those conditions may not be covered. These ratings are not a promise that either phone is waterproof or immune to damage. Motorola’s product page also lists a 90W charger, cable and SIM tool in the box; Xiaomi lists an adapter, cable, case and SIM tool. Accessories and package contents can vary by region or seller.

Software support: what is established?

Motorola states that the Edge 60 Pro will receive 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security maintenance releases. Xiaomi’s retrieved Redmi Note 15 SE 5G specification page lists HyperOS 3 with Android 15 but does not state a comparable support-duration commitment. The available specifications therefore establish a stated duration for Motorola, not a matching duration for Xiaomi; they do not establish an end-of-support date for either phone.

Price difference in India

There is no reliable fixed price gap to quote from the available listings. At the research check on 4 October 2026, Motorola’s official India product page showed ₹33,999 for its selected offer and marked it out of stock. Separate comparison listings showed approximately ₹30,190 for an Edge 60 Pro and about ₹24,799 for a base Redmi Note 15 SE listing. These figures come from different listing contexts and may reflect different variants, sellers, discounts or stock, so subtracting them would not produce a dependable price difference.

Motorola’s official listing is at Motorola India. The observed comparison figures were reported by 91mobiles and Gadgets Now; they are not manufacturer price guarantees. Before deciding, compare the same RAM and storage configuration, seller, stock status and offer terms at the same time. Xiaomi’s specification page does not establish a live selling price.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you value the more versatile listed camera hardware, higher-resolution display, newer stated memory/storage technologies, wireless charging, or an explicit software-support duration.
  • Choose the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G if microSD expansion is important, you prefer its larger stated display, or its live price for the configuration you need is meaningfully lower.
  • Compare exact listings before paying if price is the deciding factor. The available prices are variant- and seller-dependent, and the Motorola official offer was out of stock when checked.
