The Xiaomi 17T has a 5x optical periscope camera and larger listed battery; the Motorola Edge 60 Pro has a higher-resolution ultrawide and selfie camera, faster stated wired charging, and wireless charging. A 91mobiles India listing snapshot accessed October 4, 2026 showed a substantial price gap, but it is not a like-for-like or guaranteed current price comparison.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro vs Xiaomi 17T: specifications

Which phone has the stronger camera hardware?

Choose Xiaomi for longer optical reach

The Xiaomi 17T lists a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS, compared with the Edge 60 Pro’s 10MP 3x optical telephoto with OIS. That gives Xiaomi the more ambitious listed hardware for distant subjects, but specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.

Motorola lists higher-resolution ultrawide and selfie cameras

The Edge 60 Pro lists a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus and macro, versus Xiaomi’s 12MP ultrawide, plus a 50MP front camera versus Xiaomi’s 32MP. Megapixel counts do not settle image quality, so treat these as hardware differences rather than a tested camera verdict.

Display, performance, and storage differences

Both phones list 1.5K displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz and Gorilla Glass 7i. Xiaomi specifies a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel, while Motorola specifies a larger 6.7-inch quad-curved pOLED panel. Screen size and curved edges are preference differences; the specifications do not establish an overall display-quality winner.

The Xiaomi 17T uses a Dimensity 8500-Ultra and UFS 4.1 storage, while Motorola’s US page lists a Dimensity 8350 Extreme and UFS 4.0. Xiaomi lists 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB storage; the Motorola page lists 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Compare the exact regional configuration and price: the processor names and memory standards alone cannot establish real-world speed. Neither cited specification page lists expandable card storage.

Battery capacity and charging: what the figures mean

Xiaomi lists a 6500mAh typical silicon-carbon battery, 67W HyperCharge, 50W PPS support, and wired reverse charging up to 22.5W. Motorola lists a 6000mAh battery, 90W TurboPower wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W wired power sharing. These are manufacturer specifications, not comparative endurance or charging-time test results.

Xiaomi says the 17T’s power adapter is not included and recommends its 67W adapter or above. Actual charging depends on compatible PPS equipment and conditions; check the local box contents and charger compatibility before purchase. Motorola’s listed 90W wired rating is higher, but that alone does not quantify how long either phone takes to charge.

Software support and durability

Motorola’s US support page specifies three OS upgrades and four years of security patches for the Edge 60 Pro. The reviewed Xiaomi specifications page does not state a comparable support duration; that omission is not evidence that Xiaomi provides no support commitment. Check Xiaomi’s policy for the phone in your market before using support longevity as a deciding factor.

The listed weights are 200g for Xiaomi and 186g for Motorola, making the Edge 60 Pro lighter on these specifications. Xiaomi describes its IP68 rating with specific freshwater lab-test conditions; Motorola lists IP68/IP69 on its US page and warns that specifications can vary by market. Ingress ratings do not mean either phone is waterproof, and exposure limits depend on the manufacturer’s terms and condition of the device.

India price difference: a dated listing snapshot

A 91mobiles India comparison page accessed October 4, 2026 displayed ₹30,190 for the Motorola Edge 60 Pro and ₹69,999 for the Xiaomi 17T, implying a displayed difference of ₹39,809. These are dynamic marketplace listing figures, not official prices or a stable current quote; the page may reflect different configurations, sellers, or offers. Do not apply this snapshot to another country or assume both listings have equivalent warranty terms.

Before comparing what you would actually pay, check both phones with the same retailer and country, match RAM and storage, and compare seller, warranty, and offer conditions. The 91mobiles page is useful as a dated market snapshot, not as proof of a fixed price gap: 91mobiles comparison listing.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Consider the Xiaomi 17T if 5x optical periscope reach, a higher listed battery capacity, 12GB RAM, or 512GB storage matters most to you.
  • Consider the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you prefer a 50MP ultrawide and front camera, higher stated wired charging wattage, wireless charging, or the published US-page software-support commitment.
  • Check local details before deciding if price, warranty, software support, or a specific memory tier is central: configurations and availability can differ by country, and the cited India figures are not like-for-like guaranteed quotes.

For reported India release dates, Gadgets 360 lists May 28, 2026 for Xiaomi 17T and April 24, 2025 for Motorola Edge 60 Pro; these dates do not establish availability in every market: Gadgets 360 comparison.
