The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is the stronger fit if you want a sharper pOLED display, a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera, or wireless charging. The vivo T5x 5G prioritizes a larger stated battery and, on one vivo India store listing, a lower price. But the official prices conflict, so there is no reliable single price gap to quote.

This comparison uses India-market manufacturer specifications and official store listings checked on October 7, 2026. It does not include independent benchmark, camera, or battery-life testing.

How the displays compare

The Edge 60 Pro has the higher-resolution panel and the more premium stated display technology: a 1.5K pOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. That makes it the clearer specification-led choice for readers who prioritize display detail and panel type.

The T5x’s 6.76-inch LCD is slightly larger diagonally than the Motorola’s 6.7-inch display, but its listed resolution is lower. Choose based on whether you value a larger screen area or the sharper, higher-end panel; the published specifications alone do not establish brightness or outdoor visibility.

Which phone has the more versatile cameras?

The Edge 60 Pro has three distinct rear cameras, including a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS. That dedicated telephoto is the clearest hardware advantage if you often photograph distant subjects or want a true optical zoom option.

vivo lists a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera on the T5x. It does not list a dedicated telephoto or ultrawide camera for this combination. Motorola also lists a 50MP ultrawide/macro camera, adding another type of framing option.

The front cameras are listed at 50MP on Motorola and 32MP on vivo. Megapixel counts and camera hardware do not, by themselves, establish which phone takes better photos; that requires comparable independent testing.

Battery capacity and charging: T5x is larger, Edge 60 Pro charges more ways

vivo lists a 7200mAh battery for the T5x, compared with Motorola’s 6000mAh figure for the Edge 60 Pro. The T5x therefore has the larger stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot predict how long either phone lasts in everyday use.

Motorola specifies 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. vivo lists 44W charging for the T5x and does not list wireless charging on the cited product page. These wattages are manufacturer specifications, not measured charge times; actual results can vary with conditions and charging equipment.

What do the phones cost, and is there a clear price difference?

The official India listings checked on October 7, 2026 do not support a dependable single price gap:

  • Motorola’s India product page displayed ₹33,999 against an MRP of ₹40,999, but the page showed “Currently out of stock.” It listed multiple storage configurations and variant-specific card discounts.
  • vivo’s official store category listing showed ₹27,999 for a T5x 5G 6GB/128GB configuration.
  • vivo’s product detail page showed ₹45,999 for a selected 6GB/128GB unit, conflicting with the category listing for what appears to be the same configuration.

Because the vivo pages disagree and Motorola showed no stock, subtracting these figures would give a misleading comparison. Check the selected RAM/storage variant, seller, warranty, live price, and stock before ordering. A third-party comparison result also showed different figures, so it should not be treated as a substitute for current seller listings.

Durability and software: compare the exact claims

Motorola specifies IP68 and IP69 for the Edge 60 Pro. vivo describes the T5x rating as IP68 and IP69+. Keep the manufacturers’ wording distinct: the cited pages do not establish that these labels reflect identical testing conditions.

Motorola states that the Edge 60 Pro receives 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security maintenance releases. vivo’s T5x page names OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, but the page consulted does not establish a support duration. That is a difference in what the cited pages document, not proof that vivo offers no updates.

Which one should you choose?

Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if

  • You want the higher-resolution pOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate.
  • A dedicated 3x optical telephoto and an ultrawide camera matter to you.
  • You want the listed option of wireless charging or the higher wired charging rating.
  • You value a stated OS-upgrade and security-maintenance period, and can find the right configuration in stock at a price you accept.

Choose the vivo T5x 5G if

  • You prioritize the larger stated 7200mAh battery capacity.
  • You prefer its slightly larger display diagonal and are comfortable with an LCD panel at the listed resolution.
  • The exact T5x configuration you want is available from a seller with a confirmed price and warranty.

Check the configuration and box contents before buying

RAM and storage affect the price comparison: the T5x is listed in three configurations, while Motorola’s support and retail pages show different option ranges. Compare like-for-like storage where possible and confirm the specific model on the seller page.

The vivo store listing consulted includes a charger, cable, eject tool, case, applied protective film, and warranty card. That is specific to that vivo market listing; box contents can vary by listing or sale, so verify what the seller includes.
