These figures come from manufacturer pages, not independent testing. Motorola’s detailed specification page is for the US market, while vivo’s cited specifications and store options are for India. Motorola notes that specifications may vary by market, so verify the exact local model before buying.

Those numbers and panel labels do not establish which screen looks better in person. Brightness behavior, color tuning and viewing conditions matter; compare the exact India-market models if those differences are decisive.

Battery capacity versus charging options

vivo lists a 7,050 mAh typical battery for the S2, compared with Motorola’s 6,000 mAh figure for the Edge 60 Pro. Capacity alone cannot predict how long either phone lasts: there is no comparative battery test in the cited material.

Motorola lists 90 W wired charging, 15 W wireless charging and 5 W wired power sharing. vivo lists 44 W charging. The manufacturer figures describe supported charging specifications, not a measured time to full charge under matched conditions.

Camera differences

The Edge 60 Pro’s listed rear cameras cover more types of shots: a main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an ultrawide/macro camera and a telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom. The S2’s India specification lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP secondary rear camera. Motorola lists a 50 MP front camera; vivo lists a 32 MP front camera.

vivo advertises 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras on its India product page. Megapixel counts and camera specifications are not a substitute for comparable photo or video tests, so they do not establish an overall image-quality winner.

Durability, connectivity and software support

Motorola’s cited US support page lists IP68/IP69 protection, MIL-STD-810H certification, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. vivo advertises IP68/IP69 for the S2 on its India page and lists Bluetooth 5.4 and USB-C 2.0 in its India specifications, but does not list NFC there. Check the local model’s certification details and network bands, especially if importing either phone.

The stated software-support periods are market- and product-page-specific: Motorola’s US support page says 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security maintenance; vivo India advertises 3 generations of OS updates and 5 years of security updates. Confirm the policy and its start date or other terms with the seller for the exact regional SKU.

vivo says the S2 box includes a phone case and an applied protective film. Box contents can depend on the market or listing, so check the India store details for the selected option.

India price difference and availability

On October 4, 2026, Motorola India displayed ₹33,999 against an MRP of ₹40,999 for the Edge 60 Pro, with the status “Currently out of stock, stay tuned!” vivo’s India store displayed ₹39,999 for the S2 5G with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage; it also listed an 8 GB + 256 GB option. These are page listings, not guaranteed checkout quotes.

Subtracting the displayed prices gives a ₹6,000 lower listed price for Motorola. But the comparison is not like-for-like: vivo’s ₹39,999 option is 8/128 GB, while Motorola India lists 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB and 16/512 GB configurations. Motorola’s out-of-stock status also means its displayed figure does not confirm that a phone can currently be purchased at that price.

Check the selected storage and color, live stock, seller, warranty and checkout total before comparing offers. The manufacturer pages can change after the date above.

Which one should you choose?

  • Consider the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you prioritize a listed 3× optical telephoto camera, ultrawide rear camera, wireless charging or higher wired charging wattage. Confirm India availability and the exact local configuration before relying on the US specification page.
  • Consider the vivo S2 5G if you prefer its larger listed display, higher typical battery capacity, or the India-market model’s stated front-and-rear 4K video capability. Check the exact storage option and support terms.
  • Choose by verified offer, not the page-price subtraction alone: the observed Motorola listing was out of stock, and the two displayed prices were for different storage configurations.
