The Motorola Edge 60 Pro and TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra 5G make different specification trade-offs: Motorola lists faster wired charging, wireless charging and a higher-resolution ultrawide camera, while TECNO lists a faster-refresh display, a higher-resolution 3x telephoto and a slightly larger battery. There is no verified, like-for-like current price pair here, so a universal price difference cannot be stated. The specifications below come from Motorola’s US and EMEA pages and TECNO’s Nigeria pages; local versions may differ.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro vs TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra 5G specs
This comparison uses Motorola’s US specification page and EMEA support information alongside TECNO’s Nigeria specification page. They are manufacturer-listed details for those markets, not proof that every regional version has the same configuration.

Its EMEA support page lists IP68 and IP69: Motorola EMEA support specifications. TECNO’s Nigeria specification page lists the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G’s display, processor, battery, cameras and memory options: TECNO Nigeria specifications. Which phone has the more useful display?
TECNO lists a 144Hz refresh rate, compared with 120Hz for the Motorola. A higher refresh-rate specification may matter if you value smoother motion, but it does not by itself establish display brightness, color accuracy, touch response or how often the phone sustains that rate. Both manufacturers list 1.5K-class displays, with TECNO’s specified panel slightly larger at 6.78 inches versus Motorola’s 6.7 inches.

How do the camera specifications differ?
Choose by focal length, not megapixels alone
Both phones list a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization. The more notable difference is in the secondary cameras: Motorola lists a 50MP ultrawide and a 10MP 3x telephoto with optical image stabilization; TECNO lists an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP 3x telephoto. If wide landscapes or group shots matter most, Motorola’s listed ultrawide resolution is higher. If you are focused on the 3x telephoto, TECNO lists more megapixels for that camera.
Those specifications cannot tell you which phone takes better photos. Image processing, lens performance and shooting conditions matter, and no comparable independent camera test is established here.

Motorola lists 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging for its US Edge 60 Pro specification, while TECNO’s Nigeria page lists 45W wired charging and no wireless charging figure in the cited specifications. For someone who wants wireless charging or prioritizes the listed wired-charging rate, Motorola has the clearer specification advantage.

TECNO’s Nigeria page lists a 6150mAh battery, compared with Motorola’s 6000mAh on its US page. That 150mAh difference does not establish which phone lasts longer: display settings, software, signal conditions and use all affect runtime. TECNO also notes that battery capacity can vary by region, so check the local model listing.
What is the price difference?
A current, comparable price difference is not established. Price depends on country, currency, retailer, promotion and the RAM/storage configuration being sold. A launch price from one market or a listing for a different storage tier would not provide a reliable current comparison.
To calculate a useful local difference, compare the same-day prices for the exact configurations you would buy, from named retailers, in the same currency. Subtract the lower price from the higher one and state the date, retailer and storage/RAM tier alongside the result. Do not treat a price from another country as your local price.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Consider the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you want the listed 90W wired and 15W wireless charging, or you value the higher-resolution ultrawide specification.
- Consider the TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra 5G if you prioritize its listed 144Hz display, 50MP 3x telephoto, or 256GB/512GB storage options.
- Check the exact regional model before deciding based on software updates, storage, memory, battery capacity or resistance ratings; the cited specifications cover different markets.
- Look for comparable independent tests if your decision depends on gaming performance, photo quality or actual battery runtime. The listed specifications do not settle those questions.
What to verify before paying
- Confirm the country-specific model name and exact RAM/storage configuration on the retailer’s listing.
- Check that software support terms, battery capacity and included charging features match the local SKU rather than a specification page for another region.
- Compare current prices from retailers at the same time, in the same currency, and note any promotion or configuration difference.
- Review the warranty and the conditions attached to any advertised water- or dust-resistance rating; do not deliberately expose either phone to water.
