The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is the better fit if you want a lighter phone, a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera, or wireless charging. The realme GT 7T puts more emphasis on a larger display, a larger stated battery, and faster wired charging. Neither spec sheet proves which phone takes better photos, lasts longer in everyday use, or performs better under sustained load, so choose by the features you value and compare current prices for the same storage tier.

What the differences mean in everyday use

Choose the Edge 60 Pro for a lighter build and more flexible listed rear cameras

At 186g in Motorola’s specifications, the Edge 60 Pro is lighter than the 202g figure reported for the GT 7T in comparison data. It is also narrower. Those differences may make Motorola easier to hold, but comfort is personal and depends on grip and case choice.

Motorola lists three distinct rear-camera roles: a main camera, an ultrawide, and a 3x optical telephoto. That gives you a dedicated camera for tighter framing without relying only on digital cropping. The GT 7T’s cited official page highlights its main sensor and 4K 60fps recording, while comparison data lists an 8MP ultrawide. A richer camera specification does not establish better image quality; sensor processing, focus, exposure, and video stabilization matter too.

Choose the GT 7T for its larger panel and higher stated charging figures

The GT 7T has a 6.8-inch display with a listed 2800 × 1280 resolution, compared with the Edge 60 Pro’s 6.7-inch, 2712 × 1220 curved display. Both are listed at 120Hz. The GT’s panel is larger and has more pixels on paper; whether you prefer its viewing experience over Motorola’s curved screen is a matter of preference.

realme specifies 7,000mAh typical capacity and 6,850mAh rated capacity, compared with Motorola’s 6,000mAh. It also lists 120W wired charging, while Motorola lists 90W wired and 15W wireless charging. These are specification differences, not a promise of a particular runtime or charging time. Actual battery life and charging results depend on usage and conditions.

Do not infer a performance winner from chipset names alone

The phones use different MediaTek platforms: Dimensity 8350 Extreme in the Edge 60 Pro and Dimensity 8400-MAX in the GT 7T. The cited official specifications do not establish a measured everyday speed or sustained gaming advantage for either phone. If gaming or demanding workloads are decisive, look for independent tests that compare both devices under the same conditions.

Price difference in India

Prices captured on October 7, 2026, were not a like-for-like live quote. The 91mobiles comparison page showed Amazon listings of ₹30,190 for the Edge 60 Pro and ₹38,999 for the GT 7T, a ₹8,809 difference in that snapshot. Separately, Motorola’s India product page showed ₹33,999 against an MRP of ₹40,999 and marked the phone out of stock. The price and stock figures reflect those pages at capture time, not guaranteed current availability.

Check the exact RAM and storage configuration, seller, delivery location, discount conditions, and stock before deciding. The lower listed price in one snapshot may not apply to the variant or seller you can buy now.

Which phone should you buy?

  • Pick the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if a dedicated 3x optical telephoto, 50MP ultrawide, 15W wireless charging, or a lighter, narrower body is more important to you.
  • Pick the realme GT 7T if you prioritize its larger display, higher stated battery capacity, or 120W wired charging.
  • For camera quality, battery endurance, or gaming performance, base the choice on independent side-by-side testing rather than these specifications alone.
  • For value, compare current prices for the same RAM and storage tier; the captured listings differ by seller and availability.

The comparison page gives launch dates of April 30, 2025, for the Edge 60 Pro and May 27, 2025, for the GT 7T. Those dates indicate when the models entered the market, but do not by themselves show how much software support remains. Motorola’s official specifications list three OS upgrades and four years of security maintenance; check the manufacturer’s support information for the applicable update schedule.

Durability ratings also have limits: water resistance does not make a phone damage-proof. realme’s specifications page describes controlled water-test conditions. Follow each manufacturer’s care guidance and warranty terms rather than treating a rating as permission to expose a phone to water without risk.
