For buyers in India, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is the stronger fit for a sharper pOLED screen, more versatile listed cameras and a longer stated Android-upgrade commitment. The Xiaomi Redmi 15 5G offers a larger 6.9-inch display, a higher maximum refresh rate and a much larger 7,000mAh battery. Neither is a universal winner: these are published specifications, not matched real-world test results. This comparison covers the Indian models; “Redmi 15” here means the 5G variant, not the 4G model or Redmi Note 15.

Specifications are from the manufacturers’ India pages: Motorola Edge 60 Fusion and Xiaomi Redmi 15 5G. Check the exact local SKU before buying, since configurations and some specifications differ by region.
Which phone has the better display?
The Edge 60 Fusion has the sharper listed display: its 6.67-inch pOLED panel has a 2712 × 1220 resolution, compared with the Redmi 15 5G’s 6.9-inch, 2340 × 1080 LCD. The Xiaomi screen is larger and has the higher maximum refresh rate—144Hz versus 120Hz. In practical terms, Motorola’s specifications favor finer detail and a pOLED panel, while Xiaomi’s favor screen size and a higher listed refresh rate. Those figures alone do not establish which looks better to a particular viewer.
Which has the bigger battery, and which charges faster on paper?
The Redmi 15 5G lists a 7,000mAh battery, versus 5,500mAh for the Edge 60 Fusion in India. Motorola specifies higher-wattage charging at 68W, while Xiaomi lists 33W. Battery capacity and charging wattage do not establish actual battery life or how long a full charge takes; usage, charging conditions and other factors matter.

How do their cameras compare?
Motorola lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13MP ultrawide rear camera and a 32MP front camera. Xiaomi lists a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The Edge 60 Fusion therefore offers more listed camera hardware and an ultrawide option, while the Redmi specification lists only one rear camera. This is a hardware comparison, not proof that Motorola takes better photos: megapixel counts and feature lists do not determine image quality by themselves.
Do the processors or memory options make one faster?
The Edge 60 Fusion uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7400; the Redmi 15 5G uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. These are different chip families, and the cited specifications do not provide comparable independent benchmark or gaming results. There is not enough here to declare one the faster phone in everyday use or games.

For storage, Motorola’s India page lists 8GB or 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and microSD support up to 1TB. Xiaomi lists 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations. Compare the actual RAM and storage SKU you intend to buy rather than relying on a model name alone.

For the Indian listings, Motorola specifies IP68/IP69 and Xiaomi specifies IP64. These ratings indicate different levels of ingress protection; they are not a reason to deliberately expose either phone to water or dust. Protection can also be affected by wear or damage.

Motorola’s India page states Android 15, three OS upgrades and four years of security maintenance releases. Xiaomi’s India page lists Android 15 with HyperOS 2, two Android OS years and four security years. On those stated commitments, Motorola offers one additional OS-upgrade year; confirm the applicable support terms for your region.
How much more does the Motorola cost?

Which one should you buy?
Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion if
- You prioritize a sharper, listed 1.5K pOLED display over a larger screen.
- You want an ultrawide rear camera and OIS on the listed main camera.
- The India-page OS-upgrade commitment is important to you.
- You prefer the higher specified charging wattage and do not need the Redmi’s larger listed battery.
Choose the Xiaomi Redmi 15 5G if
- You want the larger 6.9-inch display and higher listed maximum refresh rate.
- A larger stated battery capacity matters more than charging wattage.
- You want a lower price based on the dated comparison snapshot, while understanding that it may not match today’s checkout price.
Regional details can change the comparison. Motorola UK lists a 5,200mAh battery and IP68, and says NFC is absent; its support page does not show the India page’s stated three OS upgrades and four years of security maintenance releases. Xiaomi Global lists different storage configurations and says no power adapter is included, while Xiaomi India lists a 33W adapter in the box.
