The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion and vivo Y400 Pro 5G share a 5,500 mAh battery and 32 MP selfie camera, but they differ in display resolution, charging rating, water-and-dust protection, and storage flexibility. Motorola lists the sharper 1.5K display, microSD expansion and IP68/69 protection; vivo lists a larger display and faster 90 W wired charging. The vivo India store showed ₹31,999 MRP for its 8 GB + 256 GB variant, but a matched current Motorola price was not confirmed, so there is no reliable live price difference to report.

On specifications alone, Motorola offers more pixels, while vivo offers a larger screen. Those figures do not settle questions such as color tuning, outdoor visibility or viewing quality; the manufacturer pages do not provide a comparable independent display test.
Battery capacity and charging
Both phones are listed with 5,500 mAh batteries. Motorola rates the Edge 60 Fusion for 68 W TurboPower charging, while vivo rates the Y400 Pro 5G for 90 W charging. These are manufacturer charging ratings, not measured charging times. No comparable battery-endurance or charging-time test is established by the cited specifications.

Protection and storage: key practical differences
Motorola lists IP68/69 protection and support for microSD cards up to 1 TB. vivo lists IP65 protection and no expandable ROM for the Y400 Pro 5G. Buyers who want to add card storage have a documented option on the Motorola; vivo buyers should choose between its 128 GB and 256 GB built-in storage variants when purchasing.
Ingress-protection ratings are manufacturer-listed specifications, not a promise that either phone is immune to damage in every exposure or condition. Follow each manufacturer’s usage and care guidance.

Processor and cameras: what the specifications do—and do not—show
The Edge 60 Fusion is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400, compared with the Dimensity 7300 in the Y400 Pro 5G. The chipset names alone do not establish a real-world speed winner; the cited manufacturer pages do not provide comparable benchmark, gaming, thermal or sustained-performance results.
For cameras, Motorola lists a 50 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultrawide/macro camera; vivo lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP secondary camera. Both list a 32 MP front camera. Megapixel counts and camera-module descriptions are not a substitute for comparable image-quality testing, so they do not establish which phone takes better photos or video.

Price difference in India
The official vivo India online store displayed an MRP of ₹31,999 for the Y400 Pro 5G with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. That is a store-page price observation, not a guaranteed transaction price; availability, offers and the listing can change. Check the vivo India online-store listing for the current variant and terms.

A current official Motorola price for a directly comparable Edge 60 Fusion variant was not established. The Motorola India page lists 8 GB or 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage, while the vivo price above applies specifically to 8 GB + 256 GB. Without a verified current Motorola offer for a matched configuration, calculating a precise price gap would be misleading. Compare the live 8 GB + 256 GB offers, including any checkout discounts, before deciding on value.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion if the higher listed screen resolution, microSD expansion, or its manufacturer-listed IP68/69 rating matters most to you.
- Choose the vivo Y400 Pro 5G if you prefer the larger display or want the higher manufacturer-rated wired-charging figure.
- Compare before buying if price is decisive: the cited ₹31,999 MRP applies only to vivo’s 8 GB + 256 GB listing, and a current matched Motorola price is not confirmed.
For either phone, the listed chipset, battery capacity and camera hardware are useful comparison points, but they are not evidence of a tested winner for speed, endurance or photo quality.
