The India-market OPPO Reno16 5G (model CPH2865) stands out for its three 50MP rear cameras, larger rated battery and faster maximum charging; the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion offers a larger display and microSD expansion. The price comparison is less settled: OPPO published India prices for the Reno16 as of 31 August 2026, but a current official Motorola India price is not established here. Confirm the exact local model and checkout price before deciding.
Check the exact models before comparing
This comparison uses OPPO’s India Reno16 5G, model CPH2865. OPPO identifies the Reno16c 5G as a different model (CPH2859) and says Reno16 models sold in other markets may have different specifications and prices. The detailed Reno16 specifications cited below come from OPPO’s Egypt product page for CPH2865, so they should not be assumed to describe every regional configuration.
Motorola says Edge 60 Fusion RAM and availability can vary by market. Verify the phone’s model, memory configuration, warranty and local support terms with the seller or manufacturer before buying; the figures below follow the cited Motorola support information rather than an assumption that every regional version is identical.

Which phone has the more useful display?
Choose Motorola for a larger viewing area
The Edge 60 Fusion’s 6.67-inch pOLED screen is 0.35 inches larger diagonally than the Reno16’s listed 6.32-inch AMOLED display. That makes Motorola the clearer fit if you prioritize a larger panel for video, reading or games. The cited specifications do not establish a like-for-like comparison of resolution, brightness or other display performance.
Choose OPPO for a compact high-refresh-rate AMOLED
OPPO lists the Reno16 display as a 120Hz AMOLED panel. That provides a specific refresh-rate figure in the cited specification; the Motorola source cited here does not state a refresh rate, so this evidence does not establish that the Reno16 is faster in every display respect.
Rank #2
Which phone has the more versatile camera system?
On listed camera hardware, the Reno16 is the more versatile option: OPPO specifies separate 50MP ultra-wide, wide and telephoto rear cameras, plus a 50MP front camera. The telephoto module is the clearest differentiator if you want a dedicated camera for zoomed-in framing rather than relying on the main camera alone.
The cited Motorola support material does not provide an equivalent camera breakdown, so it is not enough to compare image quality or claim that one phone takes better photos in real use. Megapixel counts describe sensor resolution, not the outcome of a camera test.

Battery, charging and storage differences
OPPO lists the larger battery and higher charging rating
OPPO gives the Reno16 a 6700mAh typical battery and charging up to 80W SUPERVOOC. Motorola lists 5200mAh and up to 68W for the Edge 60 Fusion. These manufacturer figures favor OPPO on capacity and maximum rated charging power, but they do not prove how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges under actual conditions.
Motorola supports expandable storage
Motorola’s support documentation lists microSD expansion up to 1TB for the Edge 60 Fusion. OPPO’s Reno16 specification page says card expansion is unsupported. If removable storage matters, Motorola has the documented advantage; check card compatibility and confirm that the regional phone variant retains this support.

What is the price difference in India?
OPPO India lists the Reno16 5G at ₹66,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹72,999 for 12GB+256GB, inclusive of taxes. OPPO states these prices were correct as of 31 August 2026 and may change, so treat them as dated manufacturer prices rather than guaranteed checkout prices. The page also identifies the India phone as model CPH2865.
A comparison-site result showed ₹20,900 for the Edge 60 Fusion, but that is a retailer/comparison snapshot, not a verified current official Motorola India price. It should not be used to calculate a definitive current price gap against OPPO’s dated list prices. Compare live seller listings for the exact local RAM and storage variants, and check stock, warranty, returns and seller terms before purchase.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Pick the OPPO Reno16 5G if a dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide camera setup, larger listed battery, 80W maximum charging rating or compact 6.32-inch display matters most—and the price for the verified CPH2865 configuration works for you.
- Pick the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion if you want the larger 6.67-inch display or microSD expansion up to 1TB, and its local configuration and price suit your needs.
- Compare the exact SKU before paying if you are shopping outside India, considering the Reno16c, or choosing between different RAM/storage configurations. Do not carry India pricing or another region’s specifications across markets without checking.
