The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is easier to assess from available specifications, but the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G’s retail configuration and current sale price are not established by Samsung’s captured India listing. A June 2026 report gave the M47 a ₹22,999 launch price, while Motorola’s India family listing showed ₹29,999 for the Edge 60 Fusion with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Those figures do not establish a current, like-for-like price difference.

How to interpret the price difference
The two available India price figures are not a reliable current comparison: Motorola’s ₹29,999 listing is for a specified 12GB/256GB configuration, whereas ₹22,999 is the M47’s reported launch price and its exact commercial configuration is disputed. Samsung’s captured product page does not show a verified sale price. Check the live price and RAM/storage variant for both phones in the same Indian market before deciding that one costs less; discounts, stock and configuration can change the result.

TechRadar lists the Edge 60 Fusion at launch for £299 in the UK and AU$699 in Australia in its July 2025 review. Those are launch prices for other markets, not current prices and not directly comparable with the India figures.

Which specifications may matter most
Display detail
On the cited India specifications, Motorola has the higher stated resolution: 2712 × 1220 on a 6.67-inch display. The M47 report describes a 6.7-inch FHD+ panel. Both are reported as 120Hz, but the Samsung display details are secondary-reported, not confirmed by the captured official listing. Resolution and refresh rate alone do not establish overall display quality.
Charging, battery and expansion
Motorola’s India sheet specifies 68W charging and a 5,500mAh battery, as well as microSD expansion up to 1TB. The M47 report lists a larger 6,000mAh battery but slower 45W wired charging. Battery capacity does not by itself predict how long a phone lasts, and the Motorola battery figure varies across the India sheet and TechRadar’s reviewed configuration.

Processor, memory and cameras
The cited Motorola India variant has a Dimensity 7400 and 8GB or 12GB RAM. The M47 report names a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and 6GB RAM, but Samsung’s listing shows an 8GB option. Resolve the exact M47 variant before comparing performance or value. Camera counts also do not settle which phone takes better photos: the available evidence lists different camera configurations, not a controlled comparison of image quality.

Software-support commitments
Motorola’s India page states Android 15 and “3 OS + 4 Years SMR.” The M47 report claims six Android version generations and six years of security patches, but that commitment is not substantiated by the captured Samsung listing. Treat the reported M47 support period as unverified until Samsung confirms the policy for the exact market and model.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Edge 60 Fusion if its confirmed local SKU and price suit you, and you value the cited India model’s higher-resolution display, 68W charging, microSD expansion, or Motorola’s published support terms.
- Consider the Galaxy M47 5G only after confirming that it is actually on sale in your market, checking its precise memory/storage configuration, and validating its official specifications and update policy. The reported larger battery and lower launch price may be appealing, but neither settles the current buying comparison on its own.
- Compare checkout prices by exact SKU rather than comparing a Motorola 12GB/256GB listing with an M47 launch-price report whose configuration is unclear.
