The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G share a 6.7-inch screen size, but they differ in panel design, charging, camera setup, and documented software support. There is no reliable single price difference to quote: the available prices are from different countries, dates, and storage tiers. Compare the same configuration in your market before deciding which is better value.

The Motorola specifications above come from a dated review, while Samsung’s are from official product information. Neither chip name nor camera megapixel count proves which phone is faster or takes better photos. The available sources do not provide a direct benchmark or controlled camera comparison.
How the displays and performance differ
Screen shape and refresh rate
Both phones have 6.7-inch displays. The Edge 60 Fusion’s quad-curved pOLED design gives the screen curved edges, while Samsung specifies a flat Super AMOLED panel. Choose based on whether you prefer the curved look and feel or a flat screen that may be easier to use with edge-to-edge content and screen protectors. Samsung Spain lists 120 Hz; check the specifications for your exact regional A37 before assuming that refresh rate applies everywhere.

The cited specifications identify a Dimensity 7300 in the Motorola and an Exynos 1480 in the Samsung, but chip names alone do not settle everyday speed, gaming performance, or battery efficiency. Samsung advertises up to 12% better CPU performance and up to 19% better GPU performance for the A37 compared with the Galaxy A56 5G. Those are Samsung’s comparisons with a different phone, not an independent test or an A37-versus-Edge 60 Fusion result. [Samsung’s performance claims]

Camera hardware: compare the roles, not just megapixels
The A37’s rear setup includes a wide camera with optical image stabilization, an ultra-wide camera, and a macro camera. The reviewed Edge 60 Fusion has a 50 MP main and 13 MP ultra-wide camera. Samsung’s listed macro camera gives it a dedicated close-up option on paper; the Motorola review’s reported ultra-wide has a higher stated resolution. These specifications do not establish image quality, especially in low light or with moving subjects. Check sample photos from the exact regional model if camera results are central to your choice.
Battery capacity and charging
The Motorola review reports a 5,200 mAh battery and 68 W wired charging. Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical battery and says its charging system can reach up to 60% in 30 minutes with a compatible 45 W charger, which is sold separately. The 5,000 mAh figure is Samsung’s typical value, based on a third-party laboratory estimate; actual battery life varies. These capacity and charging figures are not independent tests of screen-on time or real-world charging, so they cannot establish which phone lasts longer in ordinary use. Durability and water-resistance limits
Samsung’s IP68 rating is based on laboratory testing in freshwater, up to 1.5 m deep for up to 30 minutes. Samsung advises against beach or pool use and notes that resistance can diminish with normal wear. It is not a promise that the A37 is waterproof or safe to swim with. Software support and what is documented
Samsung states that the Galaxy A37 5G supports up to six Android OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. Samsung cautions that update availability and timing may vary by model and market. The collected Motorola source does not establish an equivalent support commitment for the Edge 60 Fusion; that is an evidence gap, not proof that Motorola provides no updates. For a useful local comparison, match storage capacity and market, then check the price on the same date. Check the exact regional model before you buy
Network bands and feature availability can vary by device model, country, carrier, and network. Motorola’s manual identifies Edge 60 Fusion model XT2503-4 and says network-band availability depends on location and network. Which phone is the better value?
- Consider the Edge 60 Fusion if you prefer a curved pOLED screen and prioritize the higher charging wattage reported for the reviewed configuration. Verify current local pricing and the specifications of your exact regional model.
- Consider the Galaxy A37 5G if Samsung’s documented software-support commitment, its three-camera rear setup, or its specified IP68 test rating matters most. Follow Samsung’s water-use cautions.
